Not Great as a Dog Seeker

Really hard to get responses on the app. When you do, people seem to exploit the “free” part quite a bit. Overall disappointed.

Response from developer

We understand that it can be frustrating when users don't respond. Unfortunately, this is common practice on social media sites these days that inquiries are often not answered if there is no interest, for example because they have received several inquiries or it is not suitable for them for other reasons. Some profiles have been around for a while. Many may have already found good dog-sharing partners and forgotten to state this. They continue to be notified per e-mail when they receive messages, but may not make the effort to write back. That’s why we recommend concentrating your search on profiles with a green activity dot on the profile photo (rather than yellow or red). Green means they recently logged into their profiles and are quite likely to reply. Alternatively, sort the profiles displayed according to how new they are, or how recently they were online by clicking on ‘New’ or ‘Online’. Keep trying and feel free to message one or two dozen profiles. Also be patient, many people only look at Hundelieb occasionally. Keep in mind: There are several new profiles created every month that you can text. We’re constantly receiving lots of positive feedback, so we’re certain you’re going to find the right dog-sharing partner very soon.
