Door: Virtual Neighborhood

Looking for a fun and easy way to connect with friends? You can use the Door app to browse your virtual neighborhood and visit your friend's virtual door, just as if you were standing outside their physical door. To use the virtual door you position the camera to show your smile and tap on the knock button. When you both have the app your friend will hear a door knocking sound and receive a push notification saying you are at the door! The notification will include the snapshot you took, transformed with a filter to look as if you were behind an actual door. You are notified when your friend views the snapshot with a push notification saying they are "at the door." This way the app is perfect for initiating carefree connections with friends and family when you don't have anything urgent or specific to discuss. Within the app you can personalize your door by choosing among several door designs. You may create your own unique door design in the app with the help of AI by submitting a new text description. When viewing your virtual door you can scroll through a list of snapshots from all the previous times you have knocked on other people's virtual doors; as well as the time others have knocked on your door. Use the door widget to see the last knock on your home screen, from the last person you opened the virtual door for by tapping the notification. In the contact view, the app will highlight your contacts who have already installed the Door app so you can get the full Door experience right away. In case your selected contact does not have the door app installed yet, you can still knock! The Door app will help you share your snapshot via an SMS. It will include a link encouraging your friend to download the app so they can knock back. You may delete your account within the app which will delete all of your snapshots both on your device and on any of your friends.
