Greek Honeymoon

So pleased I leaned on Origin to help us plan our one-week honeymoon in Greece. From the second we landed in Athens, everything felt so seamless and easy. I would highly recommend Origin to anyone looking to have a luxury trip, especially in a location you don’t know.

Easy Luxury

We just finished 10 days in Andalucía (Spain). I saved myself hours upon hours of researching, planning, and booking, using the Origin app and travel curator (Sarah Casewit) with fantastic results. We stayed in luxury “in the know” hotels, ate at fantastic restaurants either recommended by or reserved for us by our travel team, and we had a great local “host/concierge” (Fabricio) who was available to us our entire trip. He checked in with us on arrival and every day thereafter by WhatsApp to make sure we knew what was next and to see if we needed anything. I will be using Origin again without hesitation.

Keep Looking

I was told the average cost is $10,000 for a 5 day trip in the US? Ridiculous. There is a 5 night minimum not mentioned, even though the app allows you to choose less than 5. Expect to overspend if you use them.

You can easily do better

I wanted to see what these curators could come with so I put in a request… Bali for a few days. They said they couldn’t do it because their itineraries START at $10,000 for 5 days. The average family of 4 spends around $1,000 per month in Bali. Even with an average round trip flight of $2000, HOW is one person spending $10,000 in Bali in 5 days? This app is clearly for people who have zero idea how to manage a dime. Whatever they plan for you is not going to be a good deal. But hey if you like overspending, that’s your business.

Insulting - They need to rework their business plan

I make $350k per year and even I think $16k for a 7-day family vacation is insane...who is your target market? Obviously, your business plan didn't take into consideration the pandemic recession and political climate that is not fond of the 1%. 😳 Wow.

Also, a little ridiculous that your UX designer approved the "Rejected" language on the home page. Appalling.

In terms of pricing, we currently focus on complex itineraries with multiple destinations and regions in one trip, you might not see the value in booking with Origin. Amazing experience traveling with Origin!

I used Origin for the first time to plan a long trip to Argentina (specifically Patagonia) and had an incredible experience. I was so pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to work with a knowledgeable curator, communicate my preferences, and be given a tailored itinerary with exactly what type of trip I wanted. Every single hotel, experience, and surprise along the way was wonderful. Origin took the mental stress out of figuring out logistics, and let me show up for the fun. Excited to use it again to plan my next trip!

Obnoxious membership price

This app costs $3,000/yr, which is absolutely insane. You could hire a trip planner for $500 or do it yourself. The itineraries they show are much more basic than I do myself when planning our trips. I will be deleting this app immediately.

The $3000/yr membership is for unlimited travel for all your trips across the year. Although, we offer a trial fee of only $400 for one trip. We'd be happy if you want to try our services. Trip planning is fun again

Really digging Origin so far - easy to get started, beautiful app with tons of inspiration, and friendly planners to help curate things. Really stands out above the noise of TripAdvisor and its many clones.

Amazing service for travel enthusiasts

Working with the curators at Origin has been such a lovely and easy experience. They got to know us before they started planning so they could customize the trip for our preferences. It was also so easy to modify and provide feedback via the chat feature on the app. We are already planning two more trips with them this year and I can’t wait for all the surprises they have in store for us.

It’s all about the people

Wonderful team that is there on every step of the way. I always felt the team is very responsive, patient and attuned to my needs, they were full of creative ideas and solutions.
