  • What’s the point?

Took me 10 min to plan a trip using the switchgear to type in an address. Can’t specify “avoid tolls” or anything like that. Can’t pick different routes. Can’t select previous destinations and edit the search. Can’t use the phones keyboard. Can’t set up nav on your phone and then use the dashboard.

    Can only use Apple Music

Can’t lock the screen. Requires WiFi and Bluetooth and wacky permissions.

What’s the point in setting this up?

  • ZX10r Bluetooth not compatible

Pointless as BT on the ZX10R seems not to be compatible with iPhones (iOS16 and iPhone 13 here), as such nothing works.
  • Useless APP

It doesn’t do much, it doesn’t work well, it looses connection all the time, it’s unreliable. The people at the Kawasaki dealership know less about this than I do. I have a 2022 Ninja H2SXSE, it’s a great bike, I love it. Kawasaki needs to get someone else to do APP development.
  • Update?

Probably need an update either on the app or bike itself. Freezes about 50% of the time. Great when works though!
  • The worst app ever!

This is for sure the worst app ever. It’s almost impossible to connect the phone with vehicle, and when it is connected (bluetooth symbol on a vehicle display), nothing happens. Totally disappointing!
  • App pretty much useless

You have to connect via Bluetooth AND WiFi, AND you cannot have your phone locked or it exits the app. I clicked maps and it opened up Apple Maps by default, which I thought was neat but turns out it just opens that within the spin app, but you can’t see it on your motorcycle screen. So you’d have the map going in your pocket which is useless. And doing so disconnects the app from your motorcycle as well.

Typing is tedious because you have to use the switchgear and can’t use your phones keyboard or it disconnects the app. It should allow you to use your phone to type in an address for navigation at the very least. If it’s just an app wrapper why not let most common apps in? There is no support for google maps or Apple Maps, instead you have to use whatever trash nav they offer in order for it to show on screen.

If you turn location to “allow while using” it doesn’t let you connect to your motorcycle until you switch it to “always allow” which seems ridiculous. Why does the app always need to know where my phone is if it’s not with the motorcycle? Using your phone shouldn’t disconnect the app

  • Difficult to use

When trying to put address to your maps through the phone it doesn’t show up on the bike. You have to do it through the bike which is very difficult to type addresses using there keyboard. You cannot lock your phone or it will disconnect from the app which means your battery will drain.
