Not too bad… even pretty good!
Placement of units does matter. It is not just a clumsy smash of high powered characters. Been beaten by lower power levels just because I had bad placement.
Still it is largely a pay-to-play. The time it would take to grind to get the characters you need would take far too much time. I mean even some kids will HAVE kids by the time certain characters become useful and leveled up. Don’t remember if there was way to use gems to solely get character cards, but it wasn’t largely advertised.
The system mechanics are simple and can use one hand to play. Perhaps even just your nose if your hands are full.
The one thing that really bothers me is that you have to pay for the ‘dragon hoard’. 5$ for basic, 20$ for 5x-multiplier. Definitely think the basic should be free, you earn it after all. That might seem minor to some, but that was what killed the game for me. I deleted this shortly after I figured that out.
Without massive amounts of card through big chest and whatnot, there is a ceiling that is to difficult to breakthrough without spending money.
Still for the time and 5$ spent, I really enjoyed the game and put a good 3-4 hours within 5 days before being disappointed.

I love this game but have suggestions
Hi I absolutely love this game. I have a couple draw backs.
1. It’s such a grind to get coin. I don’t want to pay to get coin. I feel like every battle won maybe some coins should be paid. I also think every tournament won(ranked or classic) should also pay some coins to maybe the top three ranked.
2. I have played several ranked and classic tournaments where I barely got #6. I wish the algorithm was a little more evened out. I spent HOURS trying to get 4th so I would stop sliding back in my rank. Classic is pretty even but ranked is definitely not that even.
3. The prices in the shop to buy more cards of characters are so high. Even with hours of grinding I feel like I might as well pay or it’ll be days before I can upgrade what I have and I can’t even think of getting cards for the ones I need on my team.
Otherwise I love the game play and diversity. I like there’s no clan or chats.

Auto Chess with individual quirks
This game is really cool. If you’ve played TFT, DOTA chess or similar you should try this. I love those games and play them often but on mobile it’s difficult because of card size and the mobile aspect. I need to put my phone away or go out of service I lose. This game has changed the way some of that works to make it much more mobile friendly. The deck building and cards are also a little different. It’s more cumulative than per game. While you do gain cards and items in a game, you have a prebuilt of sorts you take into. This makes games a lot faster and once again, mobile friendly. For those complaining about F2P and rewards, if you just manage your gold and only upgrade the min number of units to get rewards each day you will be fine but the value of $1 or $2 is really good in this game. Nothing like Raid where it’s $100 for 1 legendary. I’m done ranting. Download it. :)

No matter how good your artifacts and troops are
These guys buy card packs for actual money and are automatically goated because of it. This is ridiculous you’ve ruined a game with the transaction play ability

Broken or hacked
This app is either broken or hacked. I can fight players that 4100 to my 5000, every hero is a lower level, or at best the same level as my lowest hero, and I still lose. Formation, hero makeup, both faction and type, and leader do not matter. Please fix the balance issues. I would understand if being 100 or so different you lost at times, but this difference is too much to believe it is anything other than a problem with the app.
It is also a problem that the developers clearly do not care since they have a stock response to any complaint.

It’s a fun time waster the challenges could be longer
Good concept but kinda boring
This game has a good concept but I got bored of it in the first 5 minutes there’s no real objective and no real skill required I just kinda lost interest but it does remind me of clash Royale.
