Roll control

Needs better roll control, otherwise itโ€™s an awesome sim that we should be happy we even have so thanks for making this!

Fun but frustrating controls

Nice app! Very hard to control because are are no separate roll and yaw controls though, just a combined roll/yaw control. Is that realistic? If not then itโ€™s a pretty major problem with the app.

Well done Austin

Hard to believe that SpaceX built a glider. It would be awesome to have cockpit gauges. The perspective take a bit to get used to. After that, it is an excellent education regarding what it will take to make it to Mars. After you try this, remember that astronauts will only get one chance.

Addictive

It's great fun and addictive. I'd suggest the following Austin:

- ability to orbit the camera whilst pressing the raptor button

- artificial horizon instrument to better detect roll pitch etc.

Level Unlocked!

In the 1990โ€™s I played around with X-Plane for fun, the thought occurred it would be fun if modified to simulate the test flights of DC-X.

I have waited three decades to not only see a practical orbital RLV, but a practical RLV simulation for non programmers (Kerbel Space is a programmers playground.)

Thanks for the educational fun.

Fun and addicting

Very interesting how the physics are working. Had fun finding the balance of the thrust and landing sequences. As near as Iโ€™ll get to a childhood dream unless Mr Musk has use for me

Great app!

I really like this app, it is very well developed with the physics being very accurate, especially considering this is on mobile.
Thank you Austin for this app, it has really taught me a lot about this excellent spacecraft.

Hard but interesting

Takes time to master. But realistic and frustrating at the same time. Enjoyable!

What a great app and way to get kids into physics!

This is simply an awesome application! Thank you so much Austin and team, my four-year-old son is interested in space. Iโ€™m not sure Austins briefings made much of a dent but they did allow us to talk about orbits and physics and landing in fuel. What more could you ask for? Thank you so much for all the work Austin and team

Awesome

If you are interested in SpaceX and Starship development then this app by X-Plane is worth the time. Its a high quality and entertaining simulator that will give you a sense of the challenges involved in launching, landing and orbiting Earth and Mars. X-plane, Thanks for your time building this Free or Get app. I would recommend going to check out the X-Plane apps for mobile and desktop systems.
