Amazing Game!!
Good work Laminar Research. I love this game because you can control the rocket freely, great graphics and realistic aerodynamics. This game gives a great understanding on how to rocket behaves during flight and what missions there are that are likely to happen in real life from Space-X.OnePilot_56
A few problems
Hey I’ve been playing this game since the day of the sn8 launch and it is amazing but I have a few issues the earth pad hop and 15km hop work every time but when ever I try to do a Mars mission the game will crash and I have to re open it this happens probably 2/3 time I’m on a iPhone 8 so not a bad phone yet the game still crashes and I can’t find why on top of that I think that on the hop we should be able to turn the amount of thrust down so that we don’t just completely cut all power at once like sn8 did they slowly cut more and more power I understand this would make the game extremely hard but you could put the option in the settings and can we get a refueling animation on the hyperbolic entry that all I have other then that this is one of my favorite games of all times good jobShow lesssnarly2

The iPhone 8 is a LITTLE tight on RAM... have you tried re-starting the entire phone and not running any other Apps? Does that stop the crashing? ALSO, some people have seen crashes when they exit a Mars mission and then suddenly re-start it... while data is still loading in the background! I fixed this in 1.12 though!! I am a simulator addict, I love everything simulation. I’ve played X-Plane for a good bit and it’s absolutely amazing and seeing my passion of Spaceflight be implemented into the X-Plane engine is amazing. One error I see though is that the engine placement is a bit outdated, on SN8 there are two SL raptors on the belly side and one SL raptor on the window side not the other way around. This helps with ascent by only tilting the starship on the pitch axis not yaw axis, and helps the landing flip because the two engines on the belly side also pitch the nose up due to the thrust offset. Hey Austin ! I found a bug !
I like trying to find bugs in games and i found out if you go (with time warp ) straight up in Mars launch after some point the starship slowly dissolved and if you zoom out you see the starship but even then it slowly disappears! I hope you know what I meant
If you didn’t understand:
1: go to Mars launch
2: fly straight up with time warp
3: wait a little

This is exceptional and quite fun. Love it.
While it's a bit crashy, other than that one challenging request would be to add a shadow cast by the starship so it's a bit easier to tell how close you are to landing.
EDIT: Thank you! The latest version fixed the crashing. Hasn't crashed since, except for when I crash starship myself.
If you get this, two other feature requests!
1. A long-press of the time accelerate feature to get 16x speed. Especially when doing a full orbit of Mars it can take forever to come back down
2. A full refuel button for the Earth missions. Sure starship isn't supposed to take off with out super heavy, and maybe you don't have Earth maps loaded in, but it would be fun to try and fly around Earth like you do for Mars. Maybe an Earth landing mission for the return journey from Mars??Show lessCarsonGBaker

As someone who has a slight obsession with Starship, I think I speak for most of us when I say that this app is one of the most exciting space apps to play. Far less dramatic than, say, Eve online. But based on real aerodynamics and endlessly pleasing to fiddle with. And furthermore, it’s completely free. No ads. Nothing, entirely profitless. So much fun, great to feel the starship
This app is fun and challenging. The physics help me feel the starship controls. The only thing i wish it had a bit better camera control while thrusting. (Double checked, zooms when changing camera while thrusting. Maybe mod so no zooms are allowed while thrusting? Only rotations of camera? Maybe i have a fat thumb?) Trust the autopilot and make small adjustments. The reply helped. Also holding the phone down with the face up really helps too. More precise. Got it nailed now. But i also saw the real one to give away the roll secrets. Cool app. Reminiscent of Nintendo days when repetition was key to success.Show lesscliffclof

Wait I think your thumb is moving around on the RAPTOR button... I made it so you could move the view around with your thumb while holding the rocket engine button.. it works great but you have to be aware of it. It has auto-land when the rockets are engaged, but you can tilt the pad to move the engines away from the autopilot settings, just like pushing on the stick or yoke of a real airplane with the autopilot on: You add to the autopilots default control, as a sort of override. Do this to get over the pad on Earth, not on the slope of a crater on Mars, etc.Update on my past review and a new suggestion!

Fun and addictive!
After watching SN8’s test flight, this sim has become even more fun than before! The 15km hop is a real challenge in the app - I can’t even imagine what went into the real flight. I’ve managed to successfully land the Starship but ended up miles from the pad. It’s going to be a long walk back to the car!Show lessMStockbridge

Thought I was going to get a few mins out of this app but 2 hours later still playing it and trying to get a perfect landing. Love the video briefings as they so enthusiastic and entertaining about what I’m about to try accomplish.Shepard.
