Needs MAJOR fixes

Can you PLEASE fix the glitches, even just SOME of them would be better than none. I can hardly get reports to go through in the last 3 weeks because for some stupid reason I now have to sign in EVERY time I try to submit one and a good 3/4 of the time it won’t let me sign in or tells me my info is incorrect. I can’t even sign into my account to report any of the constant issues Iv had and reported to the DMR multiple times.

Love the app

My husband has to report his lobster catch for the state of Maine this year, and being able to hope on here and have the report filed within seconds is so convenient! It’s easy to use and we haven’t had any problems with it!

Had an initial bad experience with this product. The developer contacted me by phone over the issues I was having. We discussed the problems at length as well as possible solutions that were not out of his control and mandated by the Feds. It was mutually beneficial to invite him to link up with my computer to verify some of the issues were not operator error.

Outcome: some of the errors were on my end and there were some visible issues with the program. Within 24 hours an updated improved, less confusing version has been launched with the programming errors corrected and an easier to use more streamlined reporting program in place. I was extremely impressed with the developers concern to rapidly correct and improve this program and addressing the needs of the Captains that use it. I would now recommend this product to others that need to meet the Federal reporting requirements, and affirm that the developer is there and available to help if you need it.

Murraymc503 - I'm sorry to hear VESL was difficult for you to use. That's definitely not what we intend. I don't quite follow what you mean by "categories have no directions". Could you please expand on this? Without knowing more, I would guess you are looking for instructions which our help center may help with: support.bluefindata.com. Reports can be edited before they are submitted to NOAA. After submission, NOAA Fisheries requires us to lock reports. Corrections and modifications must be emailed to ser.electronicreporting@noaa.gov. As with modifications, NOAA restricts the ability to delete reports after they have been synced to our servers. If you create the report offline, you have the ability to discard the report through the VESL app. After it's been synced, requests to delete must be sent to the SERO email address above.
