  • Partner sabotages game..still

[[ Looking for the setting where my partner doesn't play against me and give away books. That type of behavior gets you kicked from the "grown folks" card table. Deleting the app now ]]

Above is my review from at least 2 years ago. The Ai partner cuts you out of books they can lay off on. And personally underplays (not play the winning card) on books they should go get.

But the opponent NEVER has these clashes. Idky the partner can't play with the same level of competence as the Ai on the other team. Or if they just ALWAYS play to win the book. At least I can adjust to that. But I have to show the cards every hand of play just to make sure my partner is playing correctly. And they don't.

  • Bid

Games is user friendly and work to give time to study the hand being played
  • Fake

Why don’t you allow real random deals? It’s ridiculous how the other team always has a bettable hand.

    NOT FUN

Glad to hear you are enjoying NeuralPlay Bid Whist. Thank you for your review. The deals are not biased to any seat. With more play, your luck should change. Also, we use the Menu - Skip Hand option to skip deals that we prefer not to play.
  • Bidding

It appears that my partner tries to make the worst play when playing a no trump. The key is to follow your partner lead and not the best play for their hand.

  • Good game

I enjoyed playing against the AI. One quirky thing I’ve noticed. It seems to play best at level 3. The playing gets weird at level 6.

    Developer Response

Glad to hear you are enjoying NeuralPlay Bid Whist. Thank you for your review. As you point out, there is a difference between level 3, and levels 4+. Level 3 uses human designed rules. It will play mostly as we expect. When an error is found in level 3 play, we correct the rules. Levels 4+, we find, play best overall, they win more games than level 3 (when say level 6 AI plays against the level 3 AI). However, they use a Monte Carlo Simulation AI method. The plays are a bid random and not as predictable. There will be some really good (surprising) plays, but some odd (bad) plays too.
  • Why Does East-West get the best hands

I only receive four cards in the same suit, whereas the other team ends up with enough to bid six. I know what their suit will be, because I only have one card in that suit.

    Developer Response

Thank you for your review. Sometimes the luck is bad. With more play, you should get a long suit and be able to bid higher.
  • Not bad

My issue is it seems like east/west get the more hands to bid! I enjoy the game but seldom does 1st, 2nd hand passes before it get to you?

  • Authentic Game

The best bid whist app I’ve played. It plays like a real person would. Unlike other apps out there, this one follows your lead, gets two-suited, etc. One improvement would be for my computer partner to stop “skating” and play its winner immediately if the computer opponent is fishing. We’ve bumped heads until I realized it was doing that. Minor adjustments that I’ve adapted to.
