Buggy

This app could be amazing, and some of it is great, but it freezes, and it is buggy (e.g. watching an ad to unlock a delicious icon will unlock an entirely different icon than the one it was meant to). I want to love this app but it’s not worth it, even with it being free

Hard to share lists

Hard to share lists with family. No support for this in app and the manual is very vague. I haven’t figured out how to share.

Response from developer

Hello, thank you for your feedback. We are planning to release a new version to improve the sharing guide. You can contact us via support email to get help about sharing guide. Please check the … menu in your list or long press your item to find ‘collaboration’ menu.

Almost Excellent

It would be the perfect app, but I missed the five star because: - the developer asked for access to my emails (not my email address, it asked if I approve their access to my emails (!)) - the interface is not really user-friendly, too many clicks are needed when adding a product and it’s easy to get lost between the lines - the calendar especially needs extra clicks because you can’t choose the expiry DAY in the first round, only in the second round - the icon also needs to be selected two times, because with the first select, it keeps the basic icon, not the chosen one - when you have an opened product, it’s incredibly hard to set the new expiration date…
- The 0 amount items still shown as expiring today, tomorrow, etc.
- the scanner hasn’t recognised my products so far, only the country of origin - there’s no option to sort alphabetically(!), or by grabbing and moving, for me that’s the most painful. But as soon as the alphabetical or grab-and-move organising is available, I will change my rating to 5 stars.

Response from developer

We are very pleased to inform you. Several of the issues you raised have been resolved, with the exception of the grab-and-move organising. You are welcome to update to version 7.2.0. For grab-and-move, our team evaluated that it is not a necessary feature for the time being and may conflict with existing sorting features. By the way, including the alphabetical sorting (i.e., sort by name) you mentioned, there are already five sorting methods, which we believe will satisfy general sorting needs. - - - - - - Very happy to reap the benefits of your review. We will answer some of the questions you have stated about the app, the rest will be dealt with by the product staff in communication with the developers, and improvements related to them may be introduced in future versions. One of the questions about email, I wonder if it would be convenient for you to write to us and tell us how the specific form of requesting permission to access your email in the app works? We can tell you with certainty that our App itself does not have this unwarranted request, and our development team suspects that it may be the case that you clicked on an advert in the App and the request was triggered by the advert. For the issue of needing to click twice to select the icon, there was actually a misunderstanding and a design error on our part. There are two types of icon selection: automatic and explicit. The default is automatic selection, even if you don't see the selection outline, the icons will prioritize the first candidate icon in left to right order. Of course, we are aware that this design can be confusing. We are considering adding selection outlines for icons that are in effect under the automatic selection policy as well. This change may be applied in the next release. The rest of the issues regarding the interface will be sorted out one by one and we will let you know when we roll out the improved version. Thank you very much!😀

Great app but a bit more glitchy

I really like this app, but it keeps throwing me out of the app when I’m using it. Can you please help sort this?

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the feedback. The issue has been fixed in version 7.1.0.

Will force you to pay outside apple

Had to provide a card for a 3rd party service.

Response from developer

Hi, we think you might have tapped an ad and downloaded another app. We’ve never provide any service that need payments outside Apple. Would you mind to tell us the exact app name or website link that need you card? Please contact our support email.

Barcode Scan can’t work

I am a new user who have just purchased the Barcode Scan function. However, the function doesn’t work at all: When I used my iPhone to scan the barcode and QR code on the food, it didn’t respond.
