In the ideal world I would give this a zero. The app does not work unless I stand beside the boiler. What a disappointment!.

Do not touch
Had this for approx 18 months… app does not work.. or when it feels like it…I contacted the helpline…message said all engineers are busy… please leave a message.. do I did… they called day after.. I explained what the problem was….was told to contact a heating engineer!!..so if NO help at all… I will be having this pile of cr@p taken out ASAP… avoid at all cost!

Cannot establish communication.
The app will always fail to connect unless you have first woken up the thermostat by pressing the menu button which of course you can not do without physically being present. Meaning you can not use the app or control your heating remotely.

Very Disappointing‼️
This App only worked at the beginning of the installation for a few weeks, that too off n on. Since then it’s a total hit n miss (mostly miss!).
Very disappointing! I agree with the other comments about it not connecting from home. However, it Never connects from outside the house at all.

Very average
I’ve been using this app for a couple of years. Functionality is basic but works. However in recent months the App simply refuses to connect either in the home or via WiFi out of the home. Only way to wake up the App is to manually wake up wall controller by pressing a button on the unit so the LCD on the wall controller shows current settings. Around 10 mins later the App starts working. It seems like once the wall controller goes into standby mode, the App disconnects! Disappointing, it is sold as a premium industry standard but App interface is not great at all.

Some sort of automation please
The app works pretty well. UI is dated like how you have to horizontal scroll to get to the end of the week in scheduling. Here’s my wish list:
Local Siri Shortcuts integration
Public API so we can build plugins
Ability to switch ‘off peak’ on for a short period (like boost)
Octopus energy has an agile tariff that has different rates every 30 minutes. I’d like to automate my boiler to switch on for the cheapest intervals of the day without having to manually update the app. Some sort of automation support would allow me to do this.

Unbelievably terrible
This should be so simple yet it’s utter garbage. And for the money the wifi adapter was this should be seamless. App is terrible! It never connects to the unit so it’s pointless, want to add another user I think not it’s absolutely impossible. Without a shadow or a doubt the worst app I’ve ever used.
There I was online shopping for a heater controller could have got one less than half the price but this one had me thinking ohh how nice would it be to stick the hot water on boost on the road back from a walk when getting caught in the rain! Ahhh bliss I was thinking then got it installed and your faced with this rubbish.
Bubble well and truly burst!
