Modified the Fahrenheit temperature display to not feature any decimals, since that's how they are displayed in the Home app as well. Fixed some typos.

We've worked hard to bring you this update which features a much requested improvement: BACKGROUND UPDATES! Your widgets will now update on regular intervals, without needing to open the app or tap on a push notification. We've also added a settings screen where you can setup your preferences regarding the time format on the widgets or remove the time indicator completely if you wanted to. The app now completely supports the iPad as well, and makes it work great as a beautiful Home dashboard. One more thing: NEW WIDGET SIZES! We now support all different widgets sizes, which will allow you to group your sensors and accessories in any way that you can imagine. Thanks to everyone for their support and trust. It's been a while but we've managed to implement all of the most requested features from your valued feedback: more regular background updates of the widget data, customizable time format and appearance, iPad support, and all widget sizes. Please be sure to leave us your feedback again, and give us a new rating because we always want to know how and where we can improve the app for you.

By popular demand we've added support for Thermostats, Smoke sensors, Security systems, and Door Locks! SensorKit now works with 15 different device categories and the list will keep on growing! We've also fixed a bug which prevented temperature sensors to show their values in Fahrenheit according to the device region Settings. The widget background in Dark Mode was tweaked to mimic other iOS apps such as Calendar, to a lighter shade of black. Significant improvements have been made to the data fetching frequency. Thanks for all the great feedback and please continue letting us know what you think about the app by rating and reviewing it and feel free to shoot us a support email via the Help section if you feel stuck.

Reviews of SensorKit

  • Doesn’t Work

The widgets don’t update in real time. You have to touch into them, which opens the app, then close the app to see the updated information on your widgets. Even then information shown is not always accurate to what’s actually in the Home app. Don’t buy this.
  • Customize widget look

Amazing effort!! Would love the ability to customize how the widget looks. Especially changing the 24hour clock to a 12hour clock, but why stop there? Lots of wasted space in the widget and would like to be able to modify it.
  • Abysmal Refresh Rate

Nice looking widgets, but the refresh rate is abominable. For example, right now I have a widget that hasn’t been updated in 5 hours. The FAQ is mostly excuses blaming iOS for why refresh is so infrequent, but I have other apps which update in a timely manner, so I’m disappointed in this app.
