Great, easy to use.

This is so easy to use. I really like that it will still read out your label if you change the name of the symbol. It would be helpful if your saved boards were in alphabetical order. Amazing for a free app. Will recommend it to all my families.

This is a great resource for making and using communication boards quickly and personalising tasks for each user.

Symbol app

As a long time user of board maker and communicate in print I love the idea of an app on my phone / tablet , symbols in my pocket when needed. The communication/ chat boards seems to be missing the link back to the home page and the only way out is to close the app completely and restart.

Hi JMS! Thanks for your feedback - in version 1.7 of the app we've added a button to take you out of the locked board you are using, rather than unlocking and then exiting. If you prefer not to be asked to pass a code test to unlock/exit a board, you can also turn off this setting via the settings menu - look out for the "Parent Lock" setting. The app looks quite good although in the numbers fifteen is spelt wrong and can’t edit to change it.

I will keep giving this app a trial and will feed back later.

Says out of date even though I just downloaded it

On opening the app states it’s out of date and needs updating even though I’ve downloaded for the first time ever.

App Store states the app was updated just 2 weeks ago to 1.0.7 so can’t be out of date.
