OPOS Foresight is an application for chronic pain patients receiving long term opioid therapy as a part of a medically managed comprehensive pain management treatment plan. In order to use the application, you must be enrolled through your pain specialist, primary care physician or health plan. Your prescriber has asked you to use OPOS Foresight to provide the benefit of recommendations of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and State Medical Boards’ opioid prescribing guidelines. Your physician will be able to review the information with you during your appointments. Only your physician has access to your information. You decide what you want to share.
As you know, many pain medications written by your prescriber may require a new prescription each 30 days. OPOS Foresight ensures your prescriber has the information needed to continue your pain treatment, uninterrupted, as well as to meet all of the regulatory requirements for prescribing pain medications.
Patient Insights
With OPOS Foresight you can share your insights, experiences and feelings through surveys that have been selected by your physician to monitor your health and wellbeing. You will receive new surveys periodically on a weekly, monthly, bi-monthly or annual basis. Only your physician has access to the information you provide.
Chronic Pain Education
OPOS Foresight videos are designed to educate you about chronic pain and treatment options. You will have access to education about the role of opioids in a long-term treatment plan as well as information about non-opioid treatments. Your prescribing provider selects the educational content to reflect their treatment beliefs and to ensure your guideline requirements are met.
Scheduling and Telemedicine Appointments
OPOS Foresight includes appointment management and reminders for your pain management resources. In addition, the application includes telemedicine to connect you to your scheduled appointments with your pain provider. The telemedicine services must be enabled by your provider.
Integration with Apple Health
You have the ability to share the activity and health information that is already integrated on your iPhone. This can include information from other medical devices, health monitoring applications and devices, or information integration with your physician's EMR (Electronic Medical Record) which you have connected to your iPhone. This information is used by your prescriber to support their medical decision making.
