The heart rate is much lower than my Doppler says

Hi Tostadalata, please accept my apologies for the confusion in the different readings. We aim to improve the accuracy of the fetal heart rate recording via the App over the hardware in our device because there is an opportunity to perform faster iteration of the algorithms. The main issue we aim to solve via the App is to tell the difference between Mom’s blood-flow rate and a baby’s heart rate in the audio clips. It takes time calibrating an algorithm to solve this issue. Midwifes or OB’s sometimes count the fetal heart rate manually. So if you feel the calculation is off, and use the recording of a 20s clip to count the heart rate manually. Hi Chelsey, the app is only intended as an accessory to a fetal doppler device. The App allows a user to record, archive, and share the baby’s heart sound, provides how-to videos and tutorials within the app on how to effectively find/detect the heartbeat. In the case of a server error during a recording, a local copy of your recording will be saved so you won’t lose any recordings. The local recordings will be uploaded at a later time for processing. The app will now save a local copy of your recording in the chance of a server error during the recording process so you will not lose these recordings. The local recordings will be processed later when they can be re-uploaded to the server.
