The heart rate is much lower than my Doppler says

The Doppler has a higher heart beat reading than the app is picking up which scares me

Hi Tostadalata, please accept my apologies for the confusion in the different readings. We aim to improve the accuracy of the fetal heart rate recording via the App over the hardware in our device because there is an opportunity to perform faster iteration of the algorithms. The main issue we aim to solve via the App is to tell the difference between Mom’s blood-flow rate and a baby’s heart rate in the audio clips. It takes time calibrating an algorithm to solve this issue. Midwifes or OB’s sometimes count the fetal heart rate manually. So if you feel the calculation is off, and use the recording of a 20s clip to count the heart rate manually. Doesn’t work without buying an actual Doppler

What’s the point if I still have to buy an actual Doppler to hear anything?

Hi Chelsey, the app is only intended as an accessory to a fetal doppler device. The App allows a user to record, archive, and share the baby’s heart sound, provides how-to videos and tutorials within the app on how to effectively find/detect the heartbeat. Pregnancy must have

I have absolutely loved using this app! It’s so fun to share with my family. Living out of state, it gets my parents to feel a little more involved with my pregnancy. I love love love the Doppler and use it every day. The Doppler & app help ease my anxious mind. Highly recommend if you are pregnant!

Such a great app for pregnant mamas!

I’ve been using this app since I was only 8 weeks pregnant, along with my Baby Doppler and it’s saved so many special memories for us. We love that we can record and share the baby’s heartbeat; and I love the kick counting feature. Definitely recommend for all pregnant mamas out there!

Fails to save recordings

The app consistently fails to save my recordings. While saving, it then says there was an error.

In the case of a server error during a recording, a local copy of your recording will be saved so you won’t lose any recordings. The local recordings will be uploaded at a later time for processing. Just downloaded the app for the new Doppler I bought

I just received my new Doppler and download this app that corresponds with my device and every time I enter the device number it says it has no record so basically I cannot connect my Doppler to be able to record and track everything I want. Can someone please tell me how to fix this. This is my first child and I have a severe anxiety problem so I desperately need to be able to use this app. How do I get my device to connect to it ?!?!?!

Great app!

I’m not sure why people are saying it’s not working or closing out. Literally has never happened to me in the app. I’ve used this for about 3 weeks now & do multiple sessions on the heartbeat in a row for recording and it works perfect each time. It’s a really smooth, easy to use app. 🙂

Disappointing app

App rarely works. Often has connection errors or errors after recording has been done. I’ve tried closing the app, re-signing in and even re-downloading the app. I was hoping for a better product to use with the doppler but have only been disappointed for weeks. Please fix this issue!

Hi Beachbum899,  Thank you for choosing BabyDoppler!  We have improved our App in the newest release to fix the connection errors you were experiencing after recording. The app will now save a local copy of your recording in the chance of a server error during the recording process so you will not lose these recordings. The local recordings will be processed later when they can be re-uploaded to the server. Does not work!

It doesnt want to record anything and every time I open the app it gives an error saying there is an issue connecting to server.
