* Made the iCloud limit of 750 rows per Outline now be 750 rows per Parent (Outline or Row). This enables significantly larger Outlines in the iCloud account than before.

* Reworked the Spotlight background indexer to use less memory and not get killed by the OS as much. * The Open Quickly dialog now correctly shows only the partial Tag names when a group Tag is expanded. Before it showed the whole tag. * The Documents view now only displays the selected partial Tag name instead of the whole nested Tag.

* Nested Tags are now recognized by Zavala and automatically collapse in the Collections View (Sidebar). See the Tagging section in Help for more details. * Zavala can now handle pastes and drops of Markdown unordered lists. This means that drag and drop operations from OmniOutliner to Zavala now work. The Notes app unordered lists are also supported, so drag and drop operations from Notes to Zavala work now too. * Pressing the right arrow key while selecting from an field completion list (for example the Tag Input field) will now populate that field with the selected value without triggering any actions. * You can now delete added Font Levels in the Fonts dialog by swiping to the left. You must delete the lowest level Font for either the Topic or Note before deleting higher level ones. * Fixed a crash that could happen when deleting a Tag in the Editor using the last Document in that Tag and the Documents View isn’t visible. * Using Return to create or add a Tag to an Outline no longer creates a new Row. The cursor wasn’t correctly going to the new Row and the difference between Tab and Return for creating Tags was just confusing.

* Added Typewriter scrolling. * Added Row level linking. * Updated the Settings categories to be more consistent. * You can now Split and Join between different Row levels. * To start a newline while the cursor is in the middle of a row, you can now use the control-return keyboard shortcut to make that happen. * Exporting Markdown and OPML with links to other Outlines or Rows, now exports Zavala Deep Links instead of Relative Links. * The Export Shortcut has a new parameter that lets you export using Relative Links which used to be the default export format. * Scrolling won't move the cursor back to the last edited row if the cursor was moved to the Tag Input or Title Input areas any longer. * Fixed moving the cursor to the Tag Input when using the keyboard and the Tag Input isn't visible. * Fixed a bug that sometimes left the Title and Tags visible when doing a Find on an outline. * The Add Note option is now Add Note Level in the Font Settings plus menu.

* Fixed crash that could happen when an external application accessed Zavala's internal database. * Zavala no longer deselects the current Outline if an external process accesses the internal database. * Removed duplicate sync operation that was happening when going into the background. * Fixed bug that prevented splitting using Return if the Row text hadn't been previously been saved.

* Pressing ESC while editing a Topic now selects the current row and puts Zavala into Outline Mode. Pressing ESC while selecting a row (Outline Mode) will conversely put Zavala in Edit Mode. * You can now select rows using shift plus the up and down arrow keys. * If there is a Note attached to a Topic the ^- keyboard shortcut will now jump the cursor between the Topic and the Note instead of being disabled. * Deleting at the beginning or ending of a Topic will now join it to the Topic of the adjoining Row. * Pressing Enter in the middle of a Topic will now split the Row into two separate Rows based on the cursor position. * Removed the Split Row menu item since we now make splits more intuitive. The keyboard shortcut is still available though. * Change menu option “Duplicate” to “Duplicate Row” to better match the menu options next to it. * We now move the Row left (outdent) if the Row is the last child Row and the Topic is empty when the Return key is pressed. * Made switching away from or between Outlines faster. * Made the cursor and selected text even easier to see when using the default accent color. * Made the Collection icon white when selected. * Fix line skipping when cursoring up or down by hitting the arrow keys quickly. * Fixed a crash that could happen if you double tapped the Show Undo Menu button. * Trying to sync an Outline that has over 750 children at the top level or under a single row will now throw an error. This is an iCloud limitation that we can’t work around, but which most users are unlikely to run into. * Changed how Backlinks are synced to remove the possibility of losing them sporadically. * When Zavala is requested to open an outline using a URL, it will now present an error message instead of silently failing if the outline no longer exists. * Fixed a bug that could change the value of a parent row when a child row completion was undone and the parent row had previously autocompleted. * Changed how we save sync requests to reduce the possibility of losing a request while moving to the background and syncing at the same time. * Fixed duplicate copy/cut rows when selecting a parent and some of its children at the same time and then pasting them into another program.
