I paid for workbook and used for a while. Later after update i no longer have access and must pay again for same content. Be careful.Slimfringes

It costs the same price to buy the app as it does to use anything in the app. You can sample workbooks but you still have to pay another 12 dollars to actually use the whole book. Sad :(DomoAldvatora

We understand that you are asking for free content, and we thank you for this feedback. Please note that there is no cost to download the App and try the samples. The pricing model for the in-app purchase is similar to iBooks, but with the Handwriting Success you can actually write directly in the handwriting instruction ebook. These ebooks now start at $2.99 USD per month or $8.99 per year.It’s a store app.

The app has full functionality on download, allowing you to use samples of the educational content for free to try before you buy. Be sure that you are using a palm-rejection stylus to be able to write in the ebooks or ebook samples, as described. It’s okay to charge for apps, but don’t publish an just for people to download then force them to buy stuff before they can use it. Just disclose purchases are required before the download to not waste our time.gieco needs some work

It doesn’t at all mention in the app information or pictures provided that you need to purchase books in the app to practice and use the app. No mention of how much they are until you install the app. I would’ve weighed this with other paid apps if it was properly advertised.
Edit: they messaged me to say that the app description says that there will be purchases. They mentioned free samples and that the app has books for purchase or subscription, doesn’t say the price at all in description and I have screenshots to prove it. Again, as a consumer I’d rather see the full cost because it’s easier to compare and make an informed purchase. Please note the app description says, "Ebooks are now available via in-app purchase or subscription. Free samples allow you to try before you buy." The ebook content starts at $8.99, and the price is clearly marked in the app. We consider it an advantage to be able to download the app for free to try it. We will endeavor to make this trial opportunity clearer in our next update. Like you, we also wish that Apple would provide a way for us to show the price in the App Description and the App photos for each of the 150 countries in which the App sells, but currently there is no practical method to do this. One of the resolution is to improve my handwriting.
I never thought that my handwriting would actually improve. I'm ecstatic:)
I started with the adult book Write Now. Which was great but then l got book A for 5 to 6 years old. At least for me starting from there is the best method of practicing. Tracing the letters quietly is like Meditation.
Don't miss registering on their website and watching a video of one of their workshop . Great tips and you can follow along with their adult book on the app Write Now. I'm so glad I bought the app..Show lessPink Fate
