Digging for Gold Nuggets of Biblical Knowldge
Dr. Pawson was so full of Biblical knowledge and experiences way before the internet was at arm´s length. This means he physically experienced and read what he taught. His evolution on doctrinal matters is intriguing because he takes the spiritual journey with the Scriptures - an honest journey. When he encountered Scriptures that did not agree with his theology he did not attempt gymnastics but changed his theology to fit the Scriptures. For example, the Baptist doctrines (Calvinist doctrines) of Once saved always saved and water baptism were held dearly by Dr. Pawson but the overwhelming scriptural evidences forced him to reconsider his theology.
