  • Questionable

I recently downloaded this app hoping it would enhance my experience with the actual product. Unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed. The app is not officially supported by the product’s manufacturer, which raises significant concerns about its reliability and security.
  • Terrible

I had a terrible experience with this app. I was charged $30 for nothing, and my refund request was denied. It turns out that the app developer and Addy services are completely different entities. Paying for this app does not extend my Addy services subscription. I have no idea what I paid for, and I ended up being double charged. Very frustrating and disappointing.

  • Non refundable

Stolen 30$ for nothing and denied refund. Actually app developer and Addy services are too different developers, and paying in this app does not extend Addy services subscription, I have no idea for what I have paid in this app and refund has been denied, I ended up being double charged .
  • Great app, spoilt by subscriptions unfortunately

Used to be a great app to use. Would happily pay a one time fee to use it (considering how infrequent I need to access the app), but the new subscription model would cost more that my Addy.io subscription unfortunately.
  • Too expensive

Make the subscription one off instead please for self host folks
  • It’s so good 😀

Wouldn’t be without it now. Easily manage all my addy mail names on the go.
  • Life Saver

This app is a life saver. Since United States has no real data protection, unlike Europe, this app is a life savior in keeping you email account clean
  • Why paywall to host my own instance? Deleting app now. So much for open source.

    Developer Response

Open source doesn’t meant free and building and maintaining AddyManager has costs associated with it.
  • Criminally underrated!

This app is so nicely put together and definitely a proper native experience rather than just being a thin wrapper for the website.
Although it is not in the developer’s direct control, the represented aliasing service itself is also amazingly powerful including the free tier.
  • Works very well and highly recommend

What would be worse? Having your email address or a password displayed on a billboard? This was a thought that sold me on this service.
Once your email is on lists then you’re in trouble and have to constantly mark them as spam and it seemed like a never ending process.
That’s the beauty of this service. I have a unique alias for every login and email list I’m signed up for. Every email received has a description from when the alias was created so I know who’s been sharing my email. I can easily deactivate or delete an Alia’s at any time.
I have a unique password and email address for every login, which logins are managed by a password manager but this service is a critical piece in the puzzle.
AddyManager is extremely easy to use and is integrated with the browser and OS I use. The cost is worth every penny to give me the control I have and greatly increasing my security.
I haven’t had any issues but you do place great trust in this product so you’ll need to weigh the options and decide what’s best for you.
    I highly recommend.
