  • BG Gundog App - Amazing

Thanks to this app my training at home has come on massively. Ben has reached out and helped me when l've been stuck. This is a great training tool especially having the videos in your pocket to revisit when out in the field.
Using the app coupled with visiting local gundog trainers for 121's and group sessions has really brought out the best in both the handler and the dog.
My training journey started in May, and I look back at then and now and see the results day by day it amazes me. As the app says, you can't build a house without foundations!

  • Not what I was looking for

I found these videos to be lacking start to end teachings, and often picked up somewhere in the middle presuming he handler know what they are doing. The videos are also very retrieving based and not so much hunting based (although there is a little) so possible would suit a lab owner more. The training is also very formal, watched one of their reps introducing strict steadiness and directions at 14 weeks old is a bit more formal than where I’m looking to be with my pup who is a little younger ; I’d rather keep it light and fun. Good resource for some but not for me sorry. Going to use spaniel pro instead as videos are more comprehensive

  • Limited information you can do something with

There are a number for short 2-3 minute videos that show various exercises being performed but there is little to no information on how the exercises are actually taught or progressed.
