Platform is garbage for the Techs
Pay is Ok. Just makes it about worth it.
Problems from the Tech side:
1. you can accept a job, block out your personal time, but if they don’t confirm, its not guaranteed. Lots of “unknown” feeling and feeling like you’re wasting your time
2. Customers can charge back tips. I did extra work and provided peripherals and then the customer called support and removed the large tip after. They simply told me they are reducing my pay. Nevermind the additional cables and stuff I bought for the customer! Do they want us to accept payment out of app or not?
3. Lack of jobs (greater NYC area). At first when I signed up over a year ago you’d get one a week, maybe (and youd have to grab it right away or another tech would take it)
4. The company is using its Tech base to advertise full time contract jobs with garbage pay and you cant do any other work during that time, when the whole point of the app is to be your own boss! They just pay you less than what theyre getting from the company, like a sleazy recruitment agency. These ads are constant, and the ONLY jobs pushed out to Techs in my area in the last year or so.
Overall, skip this app and get referrals for clients through word of mouth.Seriously, NerdApp is a Lifesaver!
Wow, where do I start with NerdApp? It's like having a personal IT department right in your pocket! I used to get so stressed out with tech issues, but these guys have my back.
They've helped me with everything from my Wi-Fi acting up to that time I couldn't get my printer to cooperate. And they're super patient, even when I ask what I'm sure are "dumb" questions.
Best part? They're there 24/7. So, when I was up late working on a project and my software decided to throw a tantrum at 2 AM, guess who was there to help? Yep, NerdApp.
It's so user-friendly and runs really smoothly, too. You can tell they put a lot of thought into it. Plus, they keep making updates, which tells me they're all about keeping us users happy.
If you've ever needed IT help and didn't know where to turn, seriously, give NerdApp a try. It's a solid 5 stars from me!Time well Spent
I used the remote access help and got an answer within minutes, the gentleman that helped me was very kind and helped me fine the issue quickly! A 20 minute call fixed three days of fighting with my PC, props to these guys very helpful.
