This new update offers a lower minimum velocity measurement capability of the PI8000. This new feature opens the door to a multitude of new applications, particularly for impact echo test of old concrete damaged by time and stress caused by weather & temperature. The newest update extends the maximum velocity measurement capability of the PI8000 beyond the previous limit of 5,000 m/s. This new feature opens the door to a multitude of new applications, particularly in natural stone projects like granite and marble restoration, as well as cultural heritage preservation. To continually and further enhance the experience, we have made the following improvements: - Increase of the maximum velocity that can be measured with PI8000 above the current limit of 5´000 m/s.

Say hello to "Smart Disarming" and app version 2.1.0 of the world's most user-friendly, intuitive, and high-performance handheld Pile Integrity and Impact Echo tester, the Pundit PI8000. This new update comes with a new version of the Firmware and greatly increases the user experience during the testing procedure with faster data acquisition in the Impact Echo Mode. To continually and further enhance the experience, we have made the following improvements: -Smart disarming mode: the probe is automatically disarmed when it is removed from the concrete surface. You will no longer trigger accidental "false" impacts when moving the sensor with your hand. This is an optional feature that will allow the user to reduce the number of clicks for arming and disarming the probe by half, as it is no longer needed to disarm the probe.
