  • Lots of Potential

This game took me a good couple runs to be able to finish, once i hd some points in XP gain and got all the characters level up skills unlocked. Now that ive finished it and unlocked the 1 character it seems there is to unlock, i feel like im still looking for something when i play a run.

I would love to see more random elements contribute to the worlds your party visits, just some rng stuff so its not so identical right off the bat after each Hub visit

The other thing is i want more playable characters! I am at the point where i have used almost every combination of skills and characters and would happy with even the ability to unlock some already in-game NPC designs like the host at the Arena.

Overall this is one of the best types of mobile game and as long as there is new substance i will be playing this game!!!

Glad you are enjoying the game so much! We have a couple more playable characters that were just not quite ready in time for launch but will be coming later this spring/early summer in an update along with more content, more random elements in hero builds, and some other exciting features that should make your experience with the game last longer.Join us in discord if you want to stay in the loop! https://discord.gg/pX8Bty2
  • Extremely well done Rougelite

Hours of replayability with enough variation in both story and team builds to keep the game engaging. Humorous story with quirky characters and a respectable length for each run. Looking forward to the next addition to the game! Keep it up Second Pass Studios!
  • Fun game

I hope this isn’t a spoiler, but the larger narrative does gradually progress as you play more times. I like that.

I wanted to report two bugs. First, the store does not seem to work for me! Ios15.

Also there is a “missing object name” on one of the prizes for the cooking show event.
  • Okay Time Killer

Decent roguelike, has a good amount of potential. You make decisions for your party throughout the game which will give you small bonuses or hurt party members, and combat operates on a turn based bar system where when enemies and allies hit the end of the bar, they are able to do an action. Different actions set your allies back different amounts, so there's an element of planning ahead and strategy.

+Combat scaled appropriately, always had me guessing if I should fight or not due to all fights being challenging
+Story fights mostly unique with each usually having a gimmick to work around, keeping fights

-Game was rather short and confusing, not really sure what I was doing the first time around as the overall story was only really present in the end (even then, it feels pretty forced)
-While the game is usually pretty helpful in telling you the consequences of your actions (i.e telling you the exact chances of passing a skill check), the chest loot is never specified if it's grey/blue/purple, so the only way to find out is to go there and memorize which events give you what grade of loot.

/Game too easy? I beat it first try by choosing what looked good or replaced moves I didn't use very often.
/There's apparently a fourth world which I couldn't find out how to get to. I'm assuming it's a secret world, but some more in game hints would be nice.
/While I was playing, I encountered two errors, one where the game encountered a major error after I tried to use shield bash on a mansion guard in the third world, and another where the name of the perk gotten by sabotaging one of the chefs in the second world wouldn't display properly.

  • Won't start

On my iPhone 13 Pro Max running iOS 15.3.1, game freezes every time on the "loading" screen after the Unity/dev logo screens.

    Developer Response

Hi artfoundry, Very sorry you had that experience! We are actively looking into the stuck on loading issues. Thank you for sharing your device information, hopefully it will help us solve these issues soon. You can always contact us at contact@secondpassstudios.com. Our game launched just recently and we are a very small studio so we may be a bit behind on replies, but are working hard to answer questions and help with any issues we find.
  • One small issue…

I love this game the dialogue, the combat and the characters however there’s a bug that’s really affecting this game.
At the end of a run I don’t get any chrono coins and I’m not doing story mode.
This is a big problem as I straight up cannot progress through the game with this bug in the game.

Devs if your seeing this please fix this bug but other then that this game is phenomenal!

  • Great game, however

I love the game and the cute art style and storyline. The very start of the game is very confusing and his everything works is not very well explained, but once I got hang of the game it was very fun and I can't wait to see more from the developer! 😁😁😁

  • Second time updating and still no store.

I would love to play more of this game, but I refuse to play with ads. Please fix the store.

    Developer Response

Sorry you are still having issues with the store! This is our first release and we're still working out the kinks, but with the latest update we've seen that the majority of users were able to access the store. You may need to try tapping again to get it to work from the main menu or the module summary. Huge apologies you haven't been able to remove ads, we can understand how frustrated you must feel.
  • Game works now

You may remember me from my other review. After a while the game just started to work after 2 power button resets. You asked in the last review what kind of device I have, which is an IPad 2
    released on March 2 2011.
In case you’re wondering, the game is great!

    Cheers!
