Reviews of PockEmul

  • Good emulation, but not perfect yet

I've found a bug in calculating logarithms (both decimal and natural) in the program mode, for the Sharp PC-1350 model. LOG or LN put in the program mode, when run in the run mode, sometimes (but not always) produce incorrect results. When put directly in the run mode & executed, they work as expected.
  • Non-functional iPhone 12 Pro

After initially loading a session, the app soon became unresponsive and displaying artifacts. Tried removing and reinstalling. Worse the second time around.
  • Nice emulator of vintage calculators, has Easter egg

I just discovered an Easter egg in the fx-8000G: Prog 0 2 EXE. Very nice. The emulated vintage calculators and pocket computers are accurately emulated by running the original firmware. I don’t know how to load programs from external sources eg in TAP or IMG format (via PocketTools). If there is a way then that would make the emulator even better.
