    This scanner isn’t perfect, but it does open up a contact so that you can type in details easily or correct details that the scanner has captured. It recognizes phone numbers as well so for free I’ll take it.
  • Best ratio of function to complexity

    There just isn’t a business card scanning app that works the way I want. I want it to get the OCR perfect, automatically sync to my contacts, and keep images of all the cards to help jog my memory.

    This app does none of that, but it is still the best app going as of January of 2024.

    It does focus on getting names and numbers into my phone’s contacts.

    It does quick and dirty OCR and makes pretty okay guesses about which information should go where. It’s fast and easy to correct its imperfect guesses.

    If I could add one feature, it’d be automatically saving the photo of the card to my photos.
