I wanted to like it ….
…and then it started crashing. Can’t even get past the title screen. I’m on an ipad 2018. It worked fine when I first opened it. Made a video recorded and loved it. Came back to buy the iaps and now It’s constantly crashing.

Love that it has both mic and music library support.

I think the best iOS music visualizer I’ve used so far, love the camera background that is impacted by the effects, tons of creative potential there.
A couple things that I think would be cool to add since it seems the dev is listening:
Would love an option for the random sync that was in numbers of beats instead of seconds, or maybe just number of LFO cycles, could make it simple to set up more in sync transitions. Sort of related would be a tap tempo mode, where the LFO tempo could be controlled in real time by tapping the screen. Put both together and I could run my whole video rig from my iPhone while I’m playing music.

Thanks a lot for the positive review! I’ll definitely add the “random time option in combination with the LFO” to my todo list. Unfortunately I don’t completely understand your idea of an tap tempo mode at the moment. Would love to hear from your ideas via email (info@mkgames.org). In case you want to adjust the tempo of the LFO you can simply do it by opening the LFO menu and then adjust the frequency knob. Thanks again for the feedback and your ideas and wish you’ll have a lot of fun with Vythm JR. Ps: stay tuned for updates. I’m currently working on a Mac version with audio interface support and experiment with MIDI input (perhaps for a synthesizer which you can play in Vythm or for controlling the performance bar knobs). Do you think you could allow videos; stored on my iPad, to be used as backgrounds? The photo option is great but allowing videos; which could be synced to the tempo would trip this baby out. Fading back and forth from the background to the fx would be cool with filters like in the app “Fuzed”. Congratulations on a stellar effort!
