The way games should be
I’ve been playing this game on and off for over a year now. I’m an avid golfer and just enjoy the challenge of the actual game. This video game is what every video game should be. It doesn’t throw adds in you face, you have a to hard to better your circumstances and it doesn’t lose its appeal with all the different possibilities. Just like the real game, this can be super frustrating when you think you hit a great shot but the wind catches it just right and puts you straight in the water. This is a great game to sit down and play then come back to it later. Overall I’ve thoroughly enjoyed what the developer(s) have done.

Good game but rigged
Good game and amazing concept, but frustrating how blatantly rigged the game is especially the ranked matches. Your opponent with worse clubs will drive the ball further consistently aswell as 90% of the time make 70-80yrd chips when your in the lead and will always lose the game when close to chests

Misleading
The game itself has a lot of challenge to it but the fact your are told you are playing online and then proceed to see a bot that matches your play but a stroke better every other hole. I’m not saying that it is bad but would like it to stop throwing it up in your face that you are playing real people but in fact I can quit the match and pick it back up two weeks later against the same player like I never left. There are many great golf games that are solo, so I really don’t see why they try to take the good mechanics of the game and try and make it fake!

Hey! I can assure you all players are real in all multiplayer/online modes. However, in Ranked Leagues you are playing someones previous round on that same course, which is what enables instant matchmaking and asynchronous gameplay. This is also how we can show your opponents ball positions between each shot. Hope this makes sense.
Great game but the AI is OP
I've been playing this golf game for about a year and a half, and overall, it's been a really enjoyable experience. There have been some fantastic runs where I've played exceptionally well, but there have also been moments of frustration, especially when it comes to the ranked matches.
One issue I've noticed is the distinct feeling that I’m not always playing against real people. Over time, I've gotten pretty good at distinguishing between actual players and AI, and in ranked matches, the AI behavior seems incredibly obvious. The shots and scores of some opponents just don’t add up with the clubs they’re using. For example, I might have a solid string of victories, only to be paired with someone who clearly has subpar clubs, yet they manage to outplay me—sometimes by a wide margin.
There have been rounds where I've played exceptional golf, shooting -8 or even -9 under par, only to have my "opponent" (who is clearly an AI) pull off an impossible -10. It feels like the game intentionally sets up these situations, letting me reach the final round before throwing in a completely unrealistic performance from an obvious AI. This kind of match-making is seriously frustrating and, unfortunately, it’s starting to ruin what could otherwise be a very fun experience.

Actually fun, but impossible to win
This game is actually fun and probably the only game I’ve had on my phone for the longest time. There are tournaments and what not that gives you a challenge to play.
What pisses me off is that if I birdie every hole for tournaments, I’ll either be on par with AI’s or still finish 5th-10th. I love challenges and that’s fun, but I can’t unlock any chests to get new clubs because I don’t win. Basically you are in a way forced to pay money.
About new clubs, you can unlock them, but it’s not the whole package. You’ll probably one upgraded 5 iron and it’s so annoying that when you upgrade the 5 iron, it’s the same distance as your 4 iron. It’s definitely a huge flaw in the game.
Ranked matches are impossible to win. Even if I play extremely well, I can’t win because of the other player just has longer distance clubs than I do.
They already make you watch a ridiculous amount of ads, so you are making your money already. But… making us have to pay money to enjoy your game more… I’m starting to think this game isn’t good no more.

I can appreciate the updates, but…
The developer has lost sight of what the players want. The updates to club editing and varying hole locations has been an awesome improvement. The wildly inconsistent ball flight is not what should make the game more challenging. I think getting back to the basics of having to shape shots and hitting to the correct spots to score well is what is needed. Varying course conditions from course to course would be neat like having a links course with super firm fairways and greens, or a narrow parkland course with thick punishing rough.
I’ll update the rating back to a 5 star to where it could be once the swing mechanic issues are fixed, but for now, it’s not even fun to play.

Season
Really fun game. Imagine a season where you could take part in tour events across different courses and conditions. Would take this game to another level!

As a golfer it’s a good visual aid
I like using this when I’m chilling to have fun and visualize the game. I do wish unlocks were faster especially after buying the whole game for $15.
