Not great for anyone wanting to keep up with large chatrooms
While it does have a “jump to last read message” feature, trying to read all messages from that point onward is a chore since every time it needs to load more messages it resets the current position so I have to scroll back up to find the message I last saw, and switching to another app and back means that the chat window will be back at the latest message, forcing me to go all the way back up to try to find the message I last saw.
So, unfortunately this app isn’t great for me since large chatrooms are all I use Matrix for.Show lessMx5430

FluffyChat is the most stable Matrix client I have used, it has all of the features like the others, and comes with a very clean and simple interface.Matt7256

Broke
Spectacularly broken now. Used an email address field for username and now we can’t use colons. Can’t use a username because it complains about home server. I took a break from this app for a solid year and now it’s non functional. Nice.jicky smes
Unreliable, glitchy, crashes since latest update
I wasn't a huge fan of this app, I've yet to find a way to attach videos that doesn't require saving them as files first. On top of that there is a bug that shows notifications until you come out of the chat and go back in which is really annoying.
Since the latest update though, things have gotten much worse. The app has become extremely slow, I get error messages multiple times per day and the entire app then crashes. Now I am hearing notifications and I know I have messages, but they don't load unless I quit the app and reload, which lately takes forever.
Reporting bugs or submitting crash reports requires you to sign into git hub. I'm not going to do that.Show lessliamtrex46367457;)5:)?.:

I understand supporting ancient systems is difficult and has a small payoff, but you are appreciated. The app is faster than many ways to interface with my home projects and I use it via matrix interpreters on my server.
If you support an ancient OS I give you 5 stars for effort and am forgiving of any issues. That said - share to FluffyChat from photos etc. seems broken and calls are non-functional. I’ve had the occasional crash while using extra features (like share) — I think due to incomplete iOS 12.5.7 integration, which is fine.Show lessmrbailsthecat
Breaks and stays broken
Multimedia constantly breaks and remains broken for long periods of time. Voice recordings stopped working, now videos sent no longer play. This app does not play nice with iOSidielots
Awesome
Hands down the best matrix client for iOS / iPadOS. The only problem I’ve seen is jumping doesn’t seem to work correctly for me. When it tries to jump to the last read message then it winds up at the bottom again. Otherwise an absolutely awesome client. Great if you’re using heisenbridge for irc.GGonJR
