  • Beeper Delights with Unified Chat Networks

Beeper is a messaging app with some fantastic features. One standout feature is the ability to send scheduled messages across different chat networks. It's incredibly convenient to compose a message and have it sent at a specific time, regardless of the chat app being used.

Another aspect I appreciate is the ability to consolidate my messages from various apps into one place. With Beeper, I can access all my messages from different networks in a single app, saving time and keeping everything organized.

A particular highlight for me is the distraction-free conversation experience. When using Beeper to chat on Instagram, I can focus solely on the conversation without being tempted by the feed, explore page, or stories. It helps me stay engaged and maintain productive conversations.

I was on the waitlist for a couple of years, and I was worried that Beeper wouldn't live up to the expectations. However, I was definitely delighted to find that it truly allows you to combine all your chat networks into one app. Beeper exceeded my expectations and has made managing my messages much more efficient.

It's a delight for users who have been eagerly waiting for a solution to unify their chat networks. Beeper delivers on its promises and simplifies the messaging experience in a remarkable way.

  • Unclear sign up but great app

It is a great app after figuring out that you need to do the sign up via desktop app and not mobile. Seems they need clearer instructions. Having said that the app is great and does as it says and more. Few sync bugs here and there but overall really effective keeping all messages in one place! Their privacy terms seem good, with messages encrypted and not viewable in their servers. Hopefully! I think a lot of folks will be hesitant to give as much access but as long as they are up front with privacy seems like a winner!

  • A Beautiful App that Improves My Quality of Life

fortunately, the messaging app industry has not been entirely monopolized. I have contacts who, instead of Meta's products WhatsApp and Messenger, use Telegram, Signal, etc. While a good thing, it makes my life complicated. How does one keep on top of 10+ apps? Beeper inswers the question by bringing most of my messaging apps together into one place. I love that I can easily archive messages. I love that I can use WhatsApp on my iPad. It's a genuinely beautiful thing. It's much better than Element One, and the client is better than Element.

  • Outside of a few concerns this is pretty amazing

I have always had a difficult time managing communication with the number of messaging apps and notifications I get daily, a problem which has certainly affected my ability to catch up with some of my friends. Consolidation is important to me, so when I first learned about Beeper I was very excited by the prospect of using one app across all my devices.

It's pretty clear that a lot of work went into making Beeper function as well as it does. While it has certainly exceeded my expectations, I do have concerns about the security of its implementation; the workaround to provide Instagram messaging in particular is a bit strange, asking permissions for a mobile device located far from my location and the app does little to outline the reasons for that. It is slightly disconcerting to think that might be the same way it connects to everything. Additionally, Beeper can't import iMessage history, so you will likely still be opening that app should you need to reply to a message you received prior to setting it up.

Other minor issues include minimal but not unnoticeable lag between typing and text appearing in the window, abbreviated selection of connected apps, and inability to delete or hide conversations. None of these are deterrents significant enough to steer me away from Beeper at this point in time, but I admit I'm unsure if I will continue to use it as a result of these concerns.

  • Solid app overall!

This app does a great job of integrating the various messaging accounts into one platform. Keeps me responsive more often without forgetting to respond to one. Still some bugginess and lag on the app. Would love the ability to add multiple accounts from the same platform. That’s all this far, will update as things come up.

  • About time we get iMessage on something other than Apple

I would like the United States to opt for a universal messaging service. I understand why they don't have but more applications like this coming out for free like WhatsApp or Telegram will become the number one application fairly quickly. Now I know the guy who started Pebble is the guy behind all this. He did well for himself and a clever guy so I'm sure he thought about it and he has his reasons why bill monthly. Until now, this app has worked very well and I can only think of some of the new features that they will release with. Have a few ideas of my own I could see being truly smooth and a few steps ahead of other applications. If only they were hiring for what I'm good for, I would love to work for this company because I can only see great things coming. It reminds me of when I helped launch Zoom and what we've done over eight years on the market. If you are looking for a big new application to manage numerous programs, then you should get on the waiting list.

  • Very buggy, but worth it

I signed up for Beeper many months ago and forgot about it. Before that I was paying for Rambox desktop which is similar, combining all chats into one app but separate tabs - and no iOS app.

I use a handful of apps, from IG to WhatsApp to discord on iOS and (Desktop) OSX. Discord integration is severely lacking, but with an app that complex I wouldn’t expect much. I use it to read and not send there.

Overall the combined inbox is worth it because there are no apps like this. I can use Beeper about 70% of the time for all messages, but you do have to keep all other apps installed because it’s unreliable for some apps. I run into a bug every few days but support seems to constantly be working on it and updates are regular. I find myself checking original apps to make sure everything is sent and received as expected though.

You’re essentially a beta tester for a newly developing product, so if you’re okay with that and pretty technical I recommend it! I don’t mind bugs because I knew what I was getting into and I want apps like this to succeed.

  • Very useful

Thus far it’s worked great and I’ve transitioned all my standard chatting (text and photos) to using it. Very happy this app exists.
  • Magic

These developers are wizards. All my chats in one place! iMessage and texts on any device! It works, and works well. I have been using it for two days and see no need now to open all my various chat apps to message people. This has replaced them all. Never thought this would happen and it is kinda life altering. I don't usually write app reviews, so this means I want to send huge kudos to the team for what they have built so far. Keep going you wizards!
