This app is actually useless and dangerous. Apple should ban this app from the store. On several attempts at both Daly City and San Francisco routes the app fails to initiate properly leaving the instructor trying to navigate manually and thus unable to focus on the teens driving. The inability to start a route when you are more than 25 yards from the green dot is pathetic.
Worse still though the app gives ILLEGAL turns to make. For example slow streets in SF and a left turn at a NO LEFT TURN in Daly City.
I wasted 40 bucks between buying two routes for 2 months subscription. Many of the so called test routes are not actually even legitimate DMV routes according to my sons professional instructor.

Better use Google or Apple map and save your money
The mock routes in the app aren’t real test route. Better mark your own route in google/ Apple map and drive on those road than waste money on this useless app.Shristi12

Great App recommendation
I highly recommend the Driving Test Routes app, it’s very handy and helpful for training my kids prepare driving test. It provided all the driving test routes in your chosen driving test centers. Save money and the kids can gain heaps confidence in the test routes.jenjendu

incredible app
I’ve been reading a lot about this app and doing a lot of research on the routes for PDI, ADI and pupils. Everyone seems to be really happy with the way this app works, so I decided to try it myself. The fact that you can connect to your own GPS software, being that tom-tom, Apple maps, Google Maps, or whatever software you use is a massive advantage. They are incredibly detailed and incredible organised.
Not to mention the in app support which is unreal and extremely fast, unlike many other apps. I strongly recommend everyone to use this mainly for familiarisation. Thank you so much for creating an app like this.Show lessLuis FP Araujo

Ridiculous
Utterly ridiculous app. Set as a driving instructor yet you want a test date set in stone when we could have three people going for test in that area. The app thinks you’re on a different road to where it thinks you ar and jumps around. Then you’re asking for another £9.99 for a different test area!!!!? My pupil was parked directly outside Winchester test centre and had this app on her phone and it didn’t think we were close enough to the test centre! We couldn’t have been any closer. This app is a joke and needs serious rethinking and amendments to work properly, especially for the money you’re asking for it. I have cancelled my subscription after trying to use this app twice. Moreover, as a driving instructor, you'll receive four extra test centers at no additional cost. Reach out to us for further details. Ok, so first thing: you have to subscribe to the routes (not buy them), and you have to subscribe to each test centre's routes separately. Secondly, you must be right outside the test centre for the route to be able to begin, even if you're sitting on another part of the route, you can't start from there. Thirdly, it is not very good at giving directions - e.g. it won't say 'at the lights turn left' it'll say 'in 200ft turn left', which can be confusing, especially if you can't glance at the phone for clarification (old car, no phone holder or screen). Lastly, if you make a mistake (which, as per my last point, is easy to do), you can't just go back to where you went wrong and try again, you have to drive all the way back to the test centre and restart the whole route. I didn't complete one full route because of this. The only thing it was useful for was getting a vague idea of what sort of roads I might be dealing with on the test. Hi Alice, Our app is a monthly subscription, this allows us to keep routes up-to-date and provide live navigation. All test routes are designed to start and end at the test centre, just like a real test. Please use a phone holder in your car while using our app. If you make a mistake you can simple re-join the routes at any point and the navigation will continue. Subscriptions are easy to cancel on your phone, we even have instructions on our website. We also have live support chat in our app if you have any questions while practicing.
