  • Good game

Follow the tutorial and the quests. I’m making a lot of money rn by selling ingots.

Send satellites out to every undiscovered moon and solar planet it earns $$$

Go to the moon, collect rock samples, make an outpost, sell rock samples (for now) and then craft a radar station, a factory and workshop and you’re set.

You collect rock samples by pressing action and then clicking an astronaut from the top screen and then click whatever you want them to do. If they’re greyed out it means you need to unlock a building or you need life support.

Which you need to buy and ship it to the planet and then offload it from the ship to the planet and have the astronauts offload it again.

Now put a astronaut to scan for resources by going in the actions screen (you’ll see a menu to the left and the astronauts on top) on the left menu click the second button and you’ll see what the radar scanned (usually iron) mine it and you’ll be able to then craft ingots which sell for a lot of money! Silicone sells for a lot but titianium alloy sells for even more. Upgrade the radar to find better minerals and voila. You’re set. Manage youre money well and you’ll be rich.

  • Latest update causes crash

Fun game! Played almost a year now.
Have had to delete and start over a few times after installing updates as game crashes on opening after some updates.
Like now after this latest update. But I get farther every time!
Have upgraded most buildings over lvl 5&6. Have most vehicle research to 6, fuel researches over 11 and ship research above 11, have tons of range, just need upgraded options for crafting materials, mining and missions.
Looking to be able to select more mines than just first page, looking to craft materials towards building the space station.
Have upgraded off planet operations, factory, and other buildings over level 5 hoping to unlock additional crafting, mining and mission options, but no changes.
Loaded the latest upgrade hoping to unlock some of these progressions and I'm back to crash on opening the app.
Looking forward to progress, but starting over again...lol.

Hoping deleting and installing incorporates the upgrade!!

  • I like this game but could do with more stuff

I like this game way too much but even still there are a few things I want and I will list them after I list the good stuff.

Things i like way too much,

There are tons of things I like like how there are space stations, resources to keep you busy, colonizing planets has never become old, and a few random things, like watching planets orbit the sun.

    Things I want,

    1. More dwarf planets, we have Pluto already why not add the other dwarf planets.
Ceres would be helpful for re usable spacecraft going to Jupiter , haumea would be fun to stare at , and the other two, Eris and makemake would just be good base places

    2.

    More late game stuff

Now an example would be in early game you could scan the sun and in late game you could build a Dyson sphere maybe in late game you can terraform planets and make artificial ones as well. You could also,
    MOVE YOUR HQ!

    Conclusion

This is a great game and I would highly recommend that this game continues to update and make my no 1 mobile game even better with these recommendations added in the near future.

  • Great game, needs a few changes

    1) the space station needs a revamp. The models used for the ‘mini game’ visuals are extremely hard to follow. 2) I’m lost and confused. Been playing the game for a few days, and I’m still unsure about what does what. This wouldn’t be a bad thing if the game itself wasn’t a economical version of dark souls. Every mistake seems to be a punishment. 3) Economy needs to figure itself out. When I started playing, the way I made credits were from logging in and selling the free items, then that turned into selling space rocks. And after that, you’d think that it would get easier, but now I just watch Netflix while spamming advertisements for credits. I’ve watched well over 25k credits worth in advertisements (100 credits per ad). 3 1/2) The other part of the economy needs to figure itself out. I still cannot, for the life of me, figure out an efficient way to get research. And all of this wouldn’t even be that big of a deal, if 4) the timers for the research/building weren’t so long. They almost make me feel like its actually me whose out and about building/researching myself. And I really like this game too, but these kind of things hinder the experience.

  • Very entertaining, captures interest, time flies!

This is one of the better games I have played during my 57 years if life. I have played a LOT of games. There have been several gems, and they generally had their focus directed at a single facet, or just a few facets. The real jewels let every facet glitter in the light.

Tiny Space Program is one of the jewels. It doesn’t have the graphics or extremely detailed individual characters of some mega-buck MMORPG, but it isn’t trying to be one of those.

This is a time-eating, always in the back of your mind, check it every time you have 20 seconds to spare, sit playing for so long you can’t walk kind of game.

A solo creator. My hat is off, sir. Thank you for sharing your efforts. A huge Atta-Boy! for not smothering your creation with adds and not having ‘pay walls’.

I am really diggin’ this game. I look forward to Space Stations and everything else that lies ahead.

I’ll try to buy a little, every once in a while. I don’t have much, but I’m happy to share with that very rare someone who can provide real enjoyment.

Pay little heed to the whiners, some folks live to complain.

  • Great game, but needs a few things.

I’ve been playing this game a little less than a year, and from my experience I think it’s a pretty good game: there’s a decent amount of stuff to do, you feel free while playing, no forced ads, and more. However, there are a few things I think need fixed. As far as fixing, there are a few bugs I’ve ran into. When using a few big non-manned space shuttles (I don’t remember of that’s the correct name) consecutively, sometimes one or two of them will disappear. The shuttle and everything in it is just gone. I don’t know if the one I’m about to say is meant to be a feature or if it’s a bug, but if you have a ton of drilling sites available and you tap on the workers icon at the bottom of the screen, and look at the various drilling sites, you can’t scroll to see the others. It’s like the bottom of the screen is cut off. This could be intentional to force you to drill out other materials, but I wasn’t for sure. These however are just a few minor problems, nothing huge. All in all I think it’s a great game considering what it offers as a free game, especially compared to most mobile games now.

  • An Addicting Amazing Game!

    Been playing for a couple weeks now and beside from the crashes that occur from time to time which don’t effect anything and aren't a big deal at all this game is great. Only real issues I have come across so far are;

I purchased the $8.99 crystal pack which gives you 750 crystals plus you are supposed to receive a 30% bonus for your first purchase, for that specific pack it was supposed to be 225 extra crystals which I did not receive.

When you scan or explore for mining locations on a planet or moon to find potential mining sites, whence the screen is filled up on the manage menu tab there’s no way to filter through new potential mining sites and see the icon to create a site. This is an issue because the main way to get serious credits in this game is to set up gold mining sites and when I can’t access newly found gold mining sites on a planet apart from fully depleting a formally found site it takes way to much time.

This is an addicting and fun game that I am excited to see grow, even with the above mentioned issues I’ll still be continuing to play. Shoutout to the lone creator and developer Jerry for all his hard work making this gem!

  • Great game, but has issues

I’ll try to keep this brief, as long reads can turn people away. This is a great game with great potential, but takes too long to do much, and credits are hard to gather.

Research expeditions take an hour each, with minimal returns. You will need a lot of them, and several rovers. Building also takes an hour for a lot of them.

Mining has large returns, but hardly enough, and it’s tedious and takes a long time. Gold is too rare to be a consistent income source, and titanium alloys take too long to produce. Worker management is tedious as well. I can’t see who’s doing what and for how long.

Worst yet, prices go down as you sell more. Permanently too. I understand that all of this is trying to convince the player to watch ads and buy credits and such, as the developers couldn’t do this if they weren’t making money, but there has to be a better way.

Other than these issues, the game is great, unique, and inspiring. Also has a great art style!

  • Cute But Confusing

I am in love with the art style and animations of the game but for the life of me I could not figure out the UI and often when trying to just load ships with passengers (one of the most common things you do) i constantly would be scrolling through menus just trying to figure out what series of actions and taps i needed to get this done and even now I still don't understand.

The game tells you what function astronauts and ships play in the game and the mission you need to serve but I wish I had some instructions on the overall controls. If that is already in the game I am sorry because I did not see it.

  • Great game

so far it’s pretty fun and has a lot of potential. super chill and i like the music too. one improvement could definitely be the ship system, feels weird and clunky to use and can get confusing where i can find what ship and what materials. it can also get a little confusing making ships and trying to navigate to send one to another planet. room for improvement and eventually i got used to it but pretty fun. another thing that could be improved is getting credits. it’s pretty difficult to get credits and with that difficulty, i am not able to get building materials and ships. maybe make the ability to obtain them more easier/give us more things to do for credits. or even lower prices in general. i really do think this game will be great. i am excited for the future!
