Can’t Edit Settings?
This app is incredibly disappointing. No editing of presets.. can’t even see what the settings are for favourite/saved presets. Really lazy from UA, especially for the cost of their hardware. I would even pay to have an app that could display the saved presets and favourites.. but I won’t be holding my breath. Might be time to ditch my Starlight for something else.

Why Why Why?
I normally do not write reviews, but this amp in combination makes me speechless. How can a such capable company like UA make such a poor decision. This app and the connection to the pedal is so unreliable and slow. It would be a better world if that app would not exist. UA must really hate their customers.

Connects to Bluetooth one out of 50 tries
I’ve tried everything UA suggested, re-downloading app, resetting app, resetting pedal, forgetting pedal, re-adding pedal, re-pairing pedal. Nothing works. I’ve owned the pedal for three years now, and the app has only connected perhaps once or twice.

What this app needs is the ability to edit settings in the app (like the Ox Stomp implementation). Needs the ability to connect to all pedals that are powered up and Bluetooth connected - - add tab pages for each pedal and allow the user to quickly go between pedals. Give the user more options to load more then 1 preset into the pedal, or open up the interface to connect to a midi floor pedal that could then bring midi into the UAFX and then UAFX connect to the pedal.

Nicely Done
I just bought the Enigmatic and downloaded the app. The Bluetooth sunk up easily and all the controls worked well from my phone to the device.
I had the pedal sounding fairly decent on its own but the extra features on the app were essential for getting it fine tuned.

Enigmatic indeed
I have always shied away from pedals that need app support, maybe I’m old school. I can see why this app has such bad ratings. Just received the brand new Enigmatic and the app is just frozen. I was initially able to connect the pedal to my phone via Bluetooth and the pedal loaded the presets as I expected however, since then I cannot access the pedal through the app, despite disconnecting from power multiple times, reestablishing, the Bluetooth connection, and closing and reopening the app, if this doesn’t improve immediately, this thing is going right back to Sweetwater.

Not super reliable
Once connected to a device things go well. Not sure it’s the app as much as the Bluetooth stack. Bluetooth has always exhibited poor performance since its inception in any application I have used.
Great products, weak app
Everyone knows these issues with the Bluetooth connectivity exist but for whatever reason it seems to never be fixed. Great products but make the app better - you must have great software developers for all of the plugins you have for sale.
Galaxy
I just updated my galaxy to the latest firmware and now the pedal has become a $300 paperweight. I’ve tried unpairing the Bluetooth from my phone, plugging into the computer and resetting via the online instructions. For pedals that are in this price range I’d never expect the tech issues. The 3 lights on the head select just flash red and I’m not getting any lights from the effects buttons. I have opened a ticket with UA but I would strongly advise against these pedals based on the connectivity issues. On the up side when the pedal works it sounds great. I was really looking forward to the reverb always on update.

Didn’t work so far
I got the Lion. Tried to connect on the app, it prompted me to update the pedal on my computer. After that, every time I select the pedal on the app, it crashes. Tried to reinstall, re-add the pedal, nothing.
