  • Amazing

The best way to learn Kangi!
I’ve been using many other methods but this has been by far the best and easiest.
Simple enough to do in 5 minute sessions. Or spend an hour going through and testing.
  • Words?

I love this and your Kanji Book app a ton, Ive used your Kanji app exclusively to learn all my Kanji and I’m halfway through. I’m able to attempt reading Japanese now! It also threw me for a loop today giving me onyomi and kunyomi for the first time.

This made me wonder about this app, as it doesn’t have a “compounds” section itself, so maybe in that space or another app there’s something dedicated to learning Japanese words. I’m thinking an English word up top and then you must find the Japanese below. This would help with the onyomi and kunyomi considering words like “りんご” (apple) have “りん/林” and “ご/檎” within them and it also would be nice to have more building blocks to get better and better.

Maybe a grammar app as well? Regardless thank you very much for these apps.

Great idea! I'm building these apps to help me learn Japanese and vocab is definitely a weak spot of mine! I'll think about making an app for that. I don't make money on these so I just make them in my spare time. I'm glad you're finding them useful and good luck on your journey of learning Japanese!
  • Don’t Waste Your Time

Terrible app. Don’t waste your time. Clearly, whoever made this isn’t fluent in Japanese. There’s a better, version of this app where you actually learn the language. It’s called Kana as well. 0/10 stars

Hey! Thanks for trying out my app. You're right, I'm not fluent in Japanese. I made this app to help me practice drawing characters. I'm sorry you didn't find it useful and that it wasted your time.
