L’Area Marina Protetta delle Cinque Terre, gestita dal Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre, comprende i comuni di Riomaggiore, Vernazza, Monterosso al Mare e Levanto e si sviluppa lungo 19 km di costa sottoposti a protezione per il valore degli ambienti marini presenti.
L’app, sviluppata grazie al Progetto Interreg Marittimo IT-FR “GIREPAM”, consente ai diportisti di conoscere la propria posizione rispetto alle diverse zone di tutela dell’AMP (Zona A, Zona B e Zona C) e le conseguenti attività consentite.
Grazie alla mappa interattiva si possono scoprire i servizi presenti nell’area (campi ormeggio per il diporto; siti per le immersioni subacquee; strutture ricettive aderenti al Marchio di Qualità Ambientale del Parco) e gli aspetti ambientali relativi alla posizione in cui ci si trova (es. biocenosi di pregio come Posidonia oceanica).
