Apple Watch app fails to connect
The iPhone app itself seems to work quite well, but the Apple Watch app never seems to connect. It’s incredibly annoying. I am using an Apple Watch Ultra so it’s up-to-date and should have no problems.Loopless
Cannot connect my iWatch
Bought this app specifically to get the battery life in actually percentages on my watch. The app connects fine and gives me way more data than I want (others will love all the extra data it provides) however I cannot get the watch to connect and I’ve tried it on 3 different e-bikes.
I have an older Norco Sight with a STEPS 8000 motor, and Orbea Rise with an EP8 and a new YT with the EP801. Each can connect to the app but no watch.
Another annoy thing is I cannot change from KMH to MPH. The settings have a place to go to M from K but it does not affect the “speedo”.
Maybe I’m doing something wrong and the developer can help me out. If your looking to pull a phone out of your pocket then this app is not for me. $3 bucks is not a deal breaker but I could have bought a Latte.Show lessAcfella

Can connect both phone and watch to bike to get battery percentage and assistance mode however whilst it tracks the time riden it doesn’t track the distance or any other details when connected via the watchGazd101

The range in the watch display needs to be corrected: mentions “km”, while showing miles.

You can see the Range on all screens (Dash, Map, List). It will show you the range depending on selected assist mode.App is n watch doesn’t work
I have EN100 on Orbea Rise M10, the app connects in the phone great, and will initiate and connect when I press the watch app connect button, however, the watch app gets stuck on connecting.. and never moves on even though the phone app is connected.Mantisrobot
Doesn’t work
I’m only writing this here because there is no other way to contact the developer. I have a Shimano EP8 RS and purchased this app to increase the torque. I read all the PDF directions before I purchased the app and it’s not as per the directions. You cannot make any adjustments at all. I have the latest firmware version as well. I will report back with a positive review if the developer refunds my purchase or helps figure out what’s wrong.Show lessOrbea rise

I was able to finish the pairing and love that it shows my Heart Rate via my Apple Watch.
The key is - if you are using an Apple Watch - to have the app opened but the phone not connected yet, then open the app on the iPhone, and connect it. If it fails make sure you disconnect the app on the phone, then try again.
Oh and when I change the assist level the watch responds via haptic alerts. Really cool.
So the app shows a lot of info on the dashboard, including the actual battery percentage which is not showing on my Shimano display (I only see up to 5 bars), the remaining miles based on the Assist Level, shows the current heart rate and the average heart rate, the assist level… and much more!Show lessNickLisbon65
First looks seems very comprehensive
Unlock the hidden data from your ebike. This app offers a wealth of charts and other data sets that aren’t available in the official shimano apps.
One issue I’m having is the integration with the Apple health/fitness application. The integration with Strava is super simple and worked out of the box - but just can’t seem to get the apple health functionality to work. Have enabled all the permissions but doesnt seem to write the data.
Love to hear from the developer on how to get it working - bound to be user error. Once this is working the app would be a 5+ star effort.Show lessNottubs
Perfect companion for Orbea Rise M10
The M10 doesn’t come with a display, I like that it makes the bike more stealth. Thanks to this app I can glance at my Apple Watch to get an update in batt percentage during my rides. The Shimano ETube app is garbage.dissapointedf1
