A really shocking first opening night for this new takeaway option, the app has showed the same error message since 4pm - that they are a little busy and you should try again shortly.
After deciding that enough was enough we went out to get an alternative takeaway. We were dismayed to see a large collection of people seemingly turning up off the street with no app booking, despite the app instructing you as needing to order ahead.
What was more shocking than this was also the sheer number of people sat around different areas of the bar, inside, during a Covid lockdown, as they “waited” for their order to be ready. The protocol for all other restaurants during this time has rightly been to ask customers to wait outside. After seeing this, we were relieved we had not entered into the premises.
