Here are some fun updates that I had been working on to make your meal planning more exciting.
1. EMOJIS WITH MEAL NAMES
In the Today's Meal screen, I added fun food emojis that are picked up randomly and shown along with your meal names.
Who doesn't love an emoji, right?
2. CHECKMARK TO EASILY CHOOSE MEALS
In the Meal Listing, added a checkmark to let you select meals you want to include in the generation quickly. With this, you can easily select different meals and get different plans each time.
3. ALTERNATE APP ICONS
Now you have an awesome list of alternate app icons to choose from. Created by Sonaal & Dan C. Lindsay.
BUG FIXES
a. Fixed this issue of ToolBar vanishing / getting frozen sometimes. (in iOS 15)
b. No more getting redirected to the main screen randomly
c. See screenshots in light mode when you chose light mode in the 'How does the app work' screen.

My Next Meal answers the important question of ‘What should I cook today?‘
HOW DOES THE APP DO IT?
- It generates a Meal Schedule for you based on the meals you have entered,
- Provides the option to download the generated Schedule as a .csv file, and
- Adds Calendar events as per your created Schedule.
HOW DOES THE APP HELP ME?
- With this, you don’t have to spend your time figuring out a meal plan,
- The downloadable Meal Schedule file will help you do your grocery shopping easily, and,
- The calendar events will make sure you don't forget to meal prep.
CORE FEATURES
- Hassle-free Meal Schedule creation: Enter your favorite meal names & click generate to get a nice, non-repeating meal schedule.
- Day-wise meal customization: If you want to exclude the meal on specific days, weekdays, or weekends, you can easily do so while saving a meal entry.
- Export Meal Schedule: You can download the generated schedule to your Files, share it with family or friends, and use it while going your meal grocery shopping.
- iCloud Sync: Data is automatically synced to all iOS devices using the same iCloud account.
