This app works great if you can scan the beehive. However, I am looking for one that could use a screenshot or photo.
Great app! Would love to be able to input letters manually
This app is perfect for spelling bee fans!! I especially love the option to view the definition of the word as a hint — great for people who would like a little extra help but still want to challenge themselves!
The one feature I wish this app had was the ability to manually input the letters. Currently, the only way to input the letters is to scan them in using your phone’s camera, so you would need to have a picture of the spelling bee puzzle to aim the camera at. For people (like myself) who usually do the spelling bee on their phone, this is an issue because you can’t use a device’s camera to scan a photo of something that’s on that same device — you would have to pull up a photo on a different device, or print out a paper copy. It would be great to just be able to type in the letters, and designate one of them as the required letter!
Other than that, the app is perfect and the interface is wonderfully coordinated with the actual NYT spelling bee design! Thanks so much for developing it!!
