Established in 1978, EVERCHEN CORPORATION is a specialized maker of high-quality air filters for small engines. With a deep-rooted reputation for product and service quality, EverChen began trading engine parts several years ago to provide even more comprehensive services to its worldwide stable of customers.
Benjamin Chen, the firm's president, says that his company now supplies over 600 air-filter models for a wide variety of small-engine brands (mainly under 10 horsepower). These engines are used in such finished products as motorcycles, lawnmowers, agricultural machinery, and generators, the end-products made by such distinguished brands as Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Mitsubishi, B&S, Tecumseh, Stihl, Kubota, Yanmar, Robin, and Kohler. The firm's filter line increases each year, as the company introduces five to 10 new filter items per annum, which are developed in accordance with the company's own market research or according to customers' specifications.
Chen states that his company produces only the highest-quality air-filter products, all of original equipment (OE) quality and durability, by utilizing top-grade imported materials, including filter paper and unwoven fabric. The company's production facility in northern Taiwan's Hsinchu County has a monthly capacity of 100,000 filters.
The company's core competitive edge, according to Chen, lies in the comprehensive range of its product lineup, superior OE-parallel product quality, and prompt delivery, achieved via “excellent production-process precision and inventory management.”
Based on the trust built with customers in the air-filter sector, a few years ago EverChen began sourcing and supplying replacement parts for small-engine carburetors. The company sells only Taiwan-made parts because of the assured quality. It also helps its customers source other quality engine and engine-related parts, including pistons, cylinders, connecting rods, valves, engine gaskets, and crankshafts.
Chen states that EverChen has no plans to step into the production of air filters for automobile engines; the company will instead continue to devote its every effort to maximizing product-range comprehensiveness and upgrading production techniques, seeking to become one of the globe's top few suppliers of AM small-engine air filters.
All of EverChen's output is exported to major customers in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Europe.
