Used this app for a driving tour of Antietam. It worked great! Was easy to navigate as a passenger while my husband drove but would also be pretty easy to use as a sole driver because the audio starts on its own based on GPS location (you do need to make sure to go slow enough so it doesn’t start the next one before you finish the previous one). Alternatively you can look ahead and start audio for the next stop before you pull out of the parking spot at each stop.
Was great info and followed the NPS (well-marked) driving tour. Used their app for Boston Freedom Trail walking tour too and loved it!Show lesshmbarbier

I downloaded the app and paid the $7 for the full tour the night before we went to the battlefield. The day we went to the battlefield it made me purchase the full tour again but wouldn’t load because I had no service there. Took over an hour to load and once it did it only worked for 5 minutes and then cut out and I had to download the full tour again and it never worked after that.Show lessMishstache

Antietam is frequently overshadowed by its more popular neighbor, Gettysburg. But the battlefield is just as poignant and much more meaningful because of the lack of crowds. The tour reminds you of the incredible losses suffered on these fields. Recommend at least half a day to see everything. Go up to the observation point when it reopens.Show lessOceanStateOfMind
