App keeps crashing.

Unusable. Keeps crashing. Bought both Vector Q and Imagengine.

Update 9/16/21, contacted developer, he responded immediately. I am able to use VectorQ in conjunction with Imaengine. App no longer crashing.

Thank you Luis!

So very pleased to have this interface back. Thank you Luis! Perhaps a pain to maintain but so many of us were very happy with the original app. Please, please now restore the full, original preset windows, just as they were!

No compren el upgrade

La app no sirve, cuando trato de seleccionar ir al editor (go to editor) la aplicación cierra automáticamente.

Crashes & have to pay to download

Crashed when I tried to use the editor button. You cannot save or even air drop anything without paying $3.99. Disappointed, I downloaded in order to follow a tutorial and make a project. Lost my download afterwards.

Underrated

Why does this only have three stars? This app is amazing. It’s better on the iPad, yeah, but you can still do a lot of cool stuff with it on mobile.

Used to be great app not anymore/ask for money to save in your phone. I

I purchase this app 1 year ago .I don’t have a problem saving the picture back than. Now when I try to save my work in my phone it ASK FOR 2.99 to save a picture.

This is a totally different app to the previous one

I had paid for the previous one but somehow found myself migrated to Vector Q. The previous app produced a relatively sharp crisp auto trace while Vector Q is basically rubbish at auto tracing but tries to be more of an editor which I don’t need or want. So I tried to migrate back to the original by downloading it and restoring purchase but of course surprise surprise, the restore purchase doesn’t verify. I nevertheless try the old app (without paying for it again), and the auto trace is almost as bad as Vector Q. Really disappointed.

Great app, bought it 'on the spot', but:

Liked what I was able to do, lots of exploration left, too! One little niggle, though: because Apple makes file-extensions sort of "whatever", it renamed a jpg from my phone to jpeg when I *shared it to my iPad.... That's fine, even though the OS hides file extensions from users and won't allow changing them directly!

But when I wrote a quick shortcut to open a selected photo from the "camera roll" (old terminology) the action failed; it or the system displayed an error claiming that Imaengine could not handle files with the "Unknown Filetype '.jpeg'". How stupid is that? A failure of sytem flexibility.

I guess the developer has to add jpeg file-types as acceptable input. Seriously, a jpeg is a jpg. This was news in 1992? Please add the ability to input files with the jpg, jpeg, jpe, and other names for jay-pegs!! It would be great if we could have the ability to name the file extension of saved (*shared in Applese) work-files. It would be really cool if we could save directly (*share as) .jpg .jpeg (or .gif or .pdf, possibly other vector formats). That's a lot to ask, but as I'm a 'creative', boundaries are difficult for me....

Thank you

Thanks for listening
Now that I’ve had some time to spend with VectorQ, my initial reactions are confirmed.
VectorQ is not suitable for iPnone.
Yeah, it has tons of bells and whistles, but the interface is arcane and uses way more of the screen then it should
Imaengine does what I need

Thanks again for giving us back this app

Still different

The “new” Imaengine that is now available - still isn’t exactly like the old version. The options when vectorizing don’t get as crisp with a good photo. What happened?! If it’s not broke don’t fix it!
