What’s New: Extended SD card format timeout from 20s to 60s. Resolved issue with iOS date selection. From our previous release: Improved Encryption: As part of our continued efforts to enhance user security, we are introducing several encryption enhancements for video streaming that will help keep your video feeds more secure. To take advantage of this new encryption update, new firmware will be made available for cameras and NVRs which will be prompted to install in your app once the firmware is released. Improved Push Notifications: • Standalone cameras and cameras connected to an NVR will now properly display the device and channel name in the app push notification. • Tapping a push notification will now take you directly to the Live View of the camera instead of the event playback screen to allow you to instantly view your camera feed in the moment. NVR Setup Step: • Added "Add NVR from Remote Network" button on the NVR setup screen to allow the user to add an NVR through a remote connection. • Fixed minor bug related to playback of 8MP cameras on NVR. NVR Channel Re-Organizations: • The camera view order from an NVR can now be re-organized to fit your desired display order. Password Enhancements: • Special characters can now be used as part of a camera or NVR password. Changing the device password will be a requirement when setting up a device for the first time. Video Playback Enhancements: • The camera name will now be displayed when accessing the playback screen. This will allow you to easily identify the camera more easily you are looking at. • The event playback screen will display a view timeline scrubber when viewing a playback in landscape mode on a mobile device. This will allow you to keep the video feed in full screen and be able to cycle through the event timeline. General Improvements and Bug Fixes: • Stability and performance enhancements to improve end user experience.

Reviews of ClareVision

Fast and stable.

That’s been very easy to use and stable. No complaints.

Won’t load image or feed

This app can’t load a feed or image fast enough for me to see who’s ringing my doorbell, so it’s not useful or helpful. Sometimes it won’t load anything at all, despite several tries, while whoever or whatever rang the bell has already left the neighborhood.

App crashes constantly!

Have to keep removing doorbell device from the app and re-adding it just to keep doorbell recordings working. We get a notification that there is movement at our door but there is no recording. Frustrating!
