  • This will revolutionise equine welfare!

This affordable and easy to use app is invaluable for allowing accurate, repeatable and trustworthy data on horses hooves and posture. It is backed by modern podiatry and farriery science and in my opinion all horse owners and equine professionals should learn to use this app, especially if seeking to monitor changes to hoof morphology, balance and posture and take a pro-active approach to horse and hoof care. In fact I have created a self study on-line course on how I use this app to great effect in my business as an integrative equine podiatrist and body worker. Www.holisticequine.co.uk/academy

  • Paid subscription only

I’ve been recommended this app by foot specialists however none of the features are available free despite no mention of this before you download the app.
  • Falls short of expectations

I downloaded this app a year+ ago, but then didn’t do anything with it, because there was the immediate turn-off of no free trial.

Finally bit the bullet and paid to play, only to be sorely disappointed. For the price, I would expect better tutorials, and more features. What use is a hoof mapping app where there isn’t even a feature for measuring PA on a radiograph?

The features available are useful, but nothing I can’t already whip up with my regular iPhone editing tool. The most useful feature of this app is locking horizontal lines to ground parallel. Cancelled my subscription after an hour.

I will consider trying it again if it gets a major overhaul. There is definitely a market for a tool like this, if done well.

  • Does not work

I purchased this app and it won’t download the templates. Don’t bother buying it. It does not work.
  • Tricky

I’m struggling to use the tool and make sense of the information this app is designed to reveal. More explicit, step by step instructions for each template would be very helpful. (Note: I have painstakingly watched and rewatched the video. This seems like more work than necessary and still leaves room for confusion.) It’s not even clear exactly what the abbreviations for the template titles are. Furthermore, a short statement to help horse owners interpret the results of each hoof map template would be great. I realize there is a chart with some kind of notation however I don’t understand what that’s really saying. I am excited to have a tool like this available and happy to subscribe. Just hoping it can become more user friendly.

  • Subscription fee to use

I downloaded the app and the only way to use it is to buy a subscription. I didn’t purchase.
  • Excellent

Excellent way to document my horses feet!
  • Not actually free

Shows up as a free app but there is no useable free version or even a demo. Subscription required to so much as upload a hoof pic.
