Doesn’t work

Won’t connect

Misses the mark completely

The whole purpose of the product was to let those around you know if you’re busy or not with a color code. Green if you’re available, red if you’re busy in its simplest form. This app should monitor the phone for active calls (cellular, FaceTime, Zoom, Teams, WhatsApp, etc.) and then turn the light red when you’re on a call, and green (or off to save battery) when you’re off a call.

Not perfect but great addition to my workflow

I use zapier to fire colors to the flag based on conditions. It works well, and adds value to my workflow!

Agree with the other review that it's not optimal that the app can't run in the background. If you don't use keyboard shortcuts for rotating through apps it's not a huge inconvenience.

You also can only one luxafor in one mode at a time. Meaning, you can't use zapier and use a mute button together. Seems sub-optimal and limiting their ability to cross-sell products.

Doesn't run in background

In order for any of the functions to work, the app needs to be running which is understandable. However, it doesn't run in a background process like every other utility app does, so it shows up in the application switcher and dock. I rely heavily on the application switcher (cmd-tab) and having an extra app there at all times is a non-starter for me. Since I bought this as a Mute Button for conf calls, that means for this to be useful I need to start it and re-configure it every time I join a call. In other words, this adds more things to do rather than reducing things to do for a call. Bummer. It does work though, so gave it two stars for that.
