Reviews of Violet

  • Nice and simple, could be better

I’ve been looking for an easy third party Tumblr client and decided to try this out as several of the others available are outdated or not really what I want. Interface is easy and simple to use but I feel like a couple features would really make the app better.

The double and triple tapping to like or reblog is a great feature, but I wish there was a way to add tags to the reblogged content as I like to keep my posts organized and searchable—maybe a long press of the reblog button? Even better if I could save a group of commonly used tags so I wouldn’t need to type the same group of tags over and over again. I also wish there was an option for infinite scrolling, or at least a longer scroll dash. The side swiping per post is fine but a scroll option would be preferred.

I would also like for a button to queue posts. That would be an amazing addition.

Otherwise this is a simple app that does exactly what it’s advertised to do. Like and reblog posts.
