It seems to be recording but whenever I go to open a video, the app force closes and never plays. I can’t even download a video. I wanted to reach out to customer support, but the app has no means to do so.
The poorness of this app has caused an expensive item (dashcam) to be useless.
Developers, please fix this.

From Good camera, bad app to good camera good app.
I have had this camera for about 4 days now and my first dealings with this app was not good. But each day things got better and better. I’m not sure what happened (maybe operator error), but with me this app has gone from 2 stars to 5 stars. I was actually thinking about returning the camera back in the store but today things changed for the better, way better. So as of today, 5 stars.

Good camera, bad app.
This review is for the app only. So far the camera is doing good but the app is not. You can only use the app while setting in the car connect to the camera. I was hoping to be able to use the app independently so that I could take my time with the settings. I did find out that this is not unique to the app and camera but sitting in the car you can just use the camera to get to your settings. Downloading the videos work great. A little slow but it works. But the app keeps disconnecting. You have to reconnect each time you hit the home button or each time you go for a new ride. If things change for the better, I will update my review.

Don’t purchase
The buttons on camera itself are useless. It basically only mutes it with them. I downloaded the app and it needs WiFi to use. Really!! Most people don’t have WiFi in their vehicles. The app is also horrible. I will be returning as soon as get home and find my receipt. JUNK!! Don’t waste your time or money on this.

I wish I would have came here to read these reviews before I bought this dash cam. Worst experience ever trying to connect to the cam to set it up. Returning it today when I just bought it late last night. Do not buy yada products.
YADA 4K
I use this dashcam because I’m a pilot/escort for oversized loads. I was fortunate enough to have my dashcam on when one of the team was rear-ended by a semi. However, I will say the process to be able to pull this footage from the camera is very painful. I currently have my camera set to record in 3 minute increments, anything larger and the videos are too large to share on most platforms. So going through a full day on the road to locate footage took me forever. Once I located the footage, then I had to download it to my device, only to discover that I an unable to share footage from my iPad. If I try, the app crashes. OK so go through the process of downloading footage to my phone…NOW I can share. I really considered purchasing a rear camera to ensure I’m covered 360 degrees, however after the experience I’ve had with this and other apps, I will be purchasing a dashcam from another manufacturer.

Don’t be expecting something amazing and spectacular for $50 at Walmart.

Junk
Rarely connects and when it does you have to be outside the vehicle. Quality is poor at best and lags bad. Been standing here for 10 plus minutes trying to connect so I can back up. Seems like a software issue. Do better.
No connection at all
Every time I wan to connect the camera wifi as is in the directions appear to connect to the camera network and not the wifi network even if is there on the application. It is frustrating and no troubleshooting is found.
