Doesn’t scan receipts properly

Thanks for your feedback and I'm sorry to hear the scanning didn't live up to your expectations. I've made a few tweaks in the newest version (1.1) that you might like to try. I would also recommend changing the scanning format from "Price + Description" to "Price only" in settings to see if that helps at all. I mostly rely on the scanning provided by Apple and it can be hard for it to work out the characters at times, especially if the characters have not printed on the receipt clearly or if the receipt is wrinkled or folded. I've also noticed that newer devices with better cameras are far more likely to pick up the correct text, but unfortunately it's never going to be 100% perfect. One last option would be to send me a copy of a receipt you are having issues with (of course one that you don't mind sharing), to dean@throwntoys.com. I'll take a look and hopefully be able to come up with some solutions. I'll keep working on this because as you say, I do believe this has plenty of potential to help folks keep track of their spending. I really appreciate your honest feedback - thanks again. - Dean
