Talked to the salesperson for over an hour about all the options fitting our needs. Settled on this. Bought it, and the SD cards, brought it home and opened it. Plugged it in to charge, and downloaded the Ap. The Ap asked to “add a camera” and we tried scanning the 4 QR codes (2 on the outside of the box, 2 on the instructions inside) and the barcode on the box, all 5 failed. With light, without light, close, far, focusing in… 2 grown men who have owned 100’s of electronic devices in our lives could NOT get ANY of these codes to scan. So it’s all dead in the water. $118 mistake. It will all be going back tomorrow. The instructions inside are awful: it says all the light the instructions to download the “BXCAM” Ap, which doesn’t exist. After a lot of searching and googling we realized one little sticker on the side of the box calling it a “MXCAM” Ap. So the entire instructions are written wrong and on top of that, the diagram of the camera IN the instruction manual does NOT match the actual camera, so you cannot tell what all the teeny tiny buttons and switches and lights are trying to do/tell you. Everything about this product is a fail.
