Description of Shloka A Day

This App was created to help people of all ages understand the great literary works in Sanskrit left by our forefather. Many, many ślokas on various gods and other subjects are available in our culture but we do not know or understand most of them. Even though many of us want to learn and understand them, the difficulty of learning them stands in the way. In order to solve this problem, we have simplified the process - One śloka a day! Just 3 to 5 minutes a day will help you slowly and surely over time understand one by one, the great literary works left by our ancestors. Our panel of Sanskrit scholars will explain the meaning of these ślokas in a simple way to enable you to understand and appreciate these ślokas. To make the process even easier, we are bringing these explanations in 6 languages, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and English. You can pick the language of your choice to help you maximize the easy understanding of these ślokas. We are starting with Tamil Hindi and English and slowly add other languages over a period of time. Every day, one śloka will be sent to you through the app and you can spend just 5 minutes to listen and understand. Those who want to go further can go into the app and listen to more than the one śloka that we are sending you. It is up to you. • Issue Switching between categories

Great job in building the app.

I listened to the slokas in ‘Itihasa’, after that, when I tried to open slokas from ‘neeti’, I am still seeing the slokas from ‘itihasa’.

There seems to be a ‘cache’ issue, with the switch in context(categories) the older cache(content) needs to be evicted and the replaced with the new content.

I bypassed the issue, by closing and reopening the app everytime I want to ‘switch’ between categories.
