  • Beautiful, but broken.

Aside from having the identical structure of their other games, like Summon Dragons, Magnum Quest has a boring meta revolving around the character Ares. Ares becomes invincible for up to 8 seconds if he loses all HP, combined with a super that makes him an invincible tornado, plowing through all enemies. Developer then releases a new character that teleports Ares into the flank, making him even more undefeatable. PvP? Get Ares, or lose. Main adventure? Ares. Boss challenges? Ares solos them when you would normally use 5 characters. Developer needs to think of something original to balance the game, especially since it is pay to win, so your only option isn’t “buy more Ares.”

  • Very Enjoyable

I honestly only got this game just to pass time while I wait for my main game. I can say that this game has become my main game. I really enjoy the story and trail game play, the graphics are mint, characters are awesome, and it’s addicting. A couple things I would personally tweak up are 1: making bronze hero’s able to ascend. Players who choose not to pay to play can keep up with strengthening their heroes. 2: having a better ranking system in arena so players can be fairly matched. It’s not fun when you know you’re going to lose. Besides those I rate the game 5 stars simply for how enjoyable it is to play.

  • Unbelievably daring game

This game is loads of fun, great game to pass time. My boyfriend wanted me to get this game, I didn’t think it be my type of game. But in the end it was! The graphics of animation movement and art of fabulous. And the whole feel of it is D&D (dungeons and dragons) you roll a dice to see if you get common, uncommon, rare characters! And my I just say the characters are so cool and diverse! Now yes D&D is different then this game but boy is it a great 2 best!
After a while it’s harder to start leveling up your characters to pass some of the battles that are high lvl them yours but there are so many ways to lvl up your characters! You just gotta find them! The whole set up is really cool! You have a board of a map on a desk/ table ! And then you have a shelf of all the charters you collected! This game is truly a fantasy game! Go play it!

  • Unsure if it’s worth it read this

My only issue and what seems to be everyone else’s issue is the leveling once you get 55 and up pretty much It becomes so pain stacking and the grinding required is insane and I don’t have that kindve time really. That being said, it is a pretty good game the story is a little whatever just like a lot of these games though so it’s alright the combat isn’t bad but it has room for great improvement which is a good thing. Finally, spending money seems to be the big goal here I hope these people made the game because they love making games and want to give to a community rather then making a game to get money from players who just want to be the best. Overall it was worth it and it’s free so I got what enjoyment I could out of it still playing no money spent….yet. I hope they keep updating and improving the game and they could have a really good thing going here.

  • Hitting a wall

I have a good grasp on this game after playing it for nearly 2 months now. Beautiful game, great sound, awesome characters, and cool concept. But at a certain point you will hit a wall, or get very unlucky with the RNG (Random number generator). Me an my S/O plays this game and they’ve been getting very lucky with the openings. Even though we started at the same time she already has 5 stars while I'm still at 3 to 4 stars. So if anyone want to get into this you will have to get use to the randomness of this game. Overall good game. 4/5

  • I did go 5 stars

You see, I’ve played games forever. I love the fantasy genre, was a long time WOW player. Love some of the odd games, Faxandu, had a Philips CDi with the Link and Zelda games, but I’m not here to tell y’all about the obscure games I love and the accomplishments I had in WOW. But I have looked at mobile games to pass my time. I have not found a game yet that has kept my attention, that has satisfied my need to collect, upgrade, and level up like this game has. It has been an amazing game, you can play it idle, you can plan and strategize, and play it manually. It’s not “pay to win”. It really is just a great combination of collecting, arena, acts (story), Campaigns, Raids (two modes, one is kind like a dungeon crawl) Trials, Dungeon. I really enjoy this over some of the others I’ve downloaded.

  • Very fun idle gacha

I have played and am currently playing several idle gacha style games, but this is my favorite. I love the art style and D&D feel.

While it is Pay-2-Win, I am doing very well having only spent a few dollars (under 10). I usually don’t even spend that much on these type of games, but I have really enjoyed this one.

I saw someone else’s review that said there isn’t that much to do. Some of the stuff opens up as you progress as to not overwhelm you with too much. Plus, the game is still developing and they are putting out new events and content.

If you are a tabletop RPG fan and like idle gachas, you should definitely give MagnumQuest a try!

  • Agree with Almost Perfect

I love the game and agree completely with the writer of Almost Perfect review. My biggest complaint is how and what some things are for. While there is somewhat of a tutorial things like ascending characters and upgrading equipment aren’t so clear. I think either a clearer and better thought out tutorial or even something as simple as an informative guide that explains the functions of the game would be great! Just my two cents there.

  • Amazing game!

Hands down this is one of the best games I have ever played on any mobile device. I am a self proclaimed video game addict…pretty much for the last 30+ years. While that doesn’t make me an expert, it should shed light on the amount of games I have played.
This game has amazing content! There is something new and amazing that is unlocked at just the right times to keep you playing! There is SO much to do is this marvelous game! If you’re reading this review, just do yourself a favor and start playing it!
    Great job developers!

  • Great game

I love this game it plays well and at first you level fast and it seems to easy but trust me it will slow down and it doesn’t seem like you can pay to win to bad of course you can buy things to help but I feel like I can play this game with out having to p2w. Game runs great on the iphone12. I know it’s an idle game and sometimes it helps to put it down and wait for resources, but man I just want to keep playing.
